“Cafe Vignetto is a family owned and run Italian restaurant where everything is made from scratch that will never fail to provide you with an outstanding dining experience. We came across it in listings on Google and Open Table, both of which listed it as "Exceptional" and they weren't kidding. We were greeted by a gracious and charming gentleman who happened to be the first cousin of the owner, who sai that he has been here over the past 10 years from Italy, and he made our entire evening memorable. This restaurant appears to have a core of regular customers, and if I lived in the area, I would be there often as well. It is located in a comfotable homey setting with dark wood and subtle lighting. The Menu is enormous, and features a first page of highlighted dishes, and between that and the remainder of the Menu, I would have been happy with many of the selections. Everything was prepared fresh to order, from scratch, and to perfection, with very generous portions. Each sauce was distinctly different and flavorful, and not reliant on a single house sauce as any other establishments would use. The service was friendly, courteous, attentive, and we were treated like family. At the end of dinner, we were presented with a dessert menu hightlighted with photographs of delights that all appear to be home made, like everything else there, so if you can, try to save some room. “We love Anna et Pierre sooooo much!!! The best way to describe their selections of coffee, expresso, and teas would be sophisticated, high-end, unique, modern, playful and most importantly DELICIOUS!!! I look forward to the creative beverage flavors of the month because they are so unique and delicious! The pastries and sandwiches are PHENOMENAL!!!!!! The croissants (bacon, egg and cheese, chocolate, almond or plain) are perfection! The doughnuts and cookies are fantastic! One of my favorite pastries is the strawberry whipped cream croissant! Oh my goodness, don't let me get started on the ginger beignets! Needless to say I can go on and on. The ambiance is so gorgeous and Zen-like with beautiful floral arrangements, plants, books and a scenic view overlooking the Hudson. The owners Gigi and Dade are so sweet and welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. I wish I could give Anna et Pierre's 100 stars.“

“Spice Catering came highly recommended to us by our venue and friends. We are SO glad we went with them. We had our wedding at Locust Grove Estates. Billy and his team were a well-oiled machine working there. They knew the venue in and out. They also knew what to recommend for us for the venue. The day of the wedding, Spice Catering ensured that we ate and that we always had drinks if we wanted them. They were flexible with us in determining if we keep the ceremony/cocktail hour inside/outside due to the weather forecast. They also had plenty of staff to greet guests as they entered and to serve our guests. Erick, our maître d', helped our day of coordinator set everything up, take everything down, and ensure the timeline was followed smoothly. Erick was amazing to work with and took the time to get to know my husband and I to best support us on our wedding day. Our guests complimented how delicious and hot the food was and mentioned it as a highlight of the wedding. We HIGHLY recommend Spice Catering.“

“We came to Main Street Bistro for breakfast on the recommendation of our Airbnb host.

The menu is creative. My boyfriend's eyes stopped two items down the menu at Protein X. I kept going and asked if he was getting Kiki's breakfast stir fry and he changed his order. He rated it 9/10.

Since Mr eyes continued to wander, the citrus walnut bread of the Zoo Canoe was intriguing. I'm a picky eater. I've never put tomatoes in my eggs or tried hollandaise sauce but my daring spirit prevailed and I'm glad it did. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. I too would give mine 9/10. (Nothing is perfect although a well done version of my favorite ANYTHING may get 10/10.)
