“Everything I’ve ever had here is top notch. They make the best western omelette in the Hudson valley. I’ve tried them all!! The owner is awesome; professional yet super friendly and all the employees have great attitudes. Thank goodness we have Bagels and Bites in our neighborhood!!!!“
“Popped in here with a friend. Although I don't drink coffee or tea you could tell it was good. The place is very spacious and nice on the inside. Very friendly staff as well. You should pass on Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts and support a local buisness like this one.“
“My fave vegan spot in New Paltz. Food is delish and staff is delightful. Puppy friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of GF optionsVegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: In addition to being all vegan, there are lots of GF options, and everything la elements and adjustable so you can avoid nuts, seeds wtc.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly“
“Have been coming here regularly for pretty much since they’ve been open. I have tried pretty much every breakfast sandwich in the Hudson valley and hazel rose takes the cake. Their brioche buns are fantastic. All of their breakfast items are amazing. They make delicious cheesecakes as well. Definitely best little spot in the area.“
“Had an amazing chilean coffee with a panini pressed ham and cheese. Their pastries are delicious! Especially the guava and cheese puffs! I recommend everything on the menu because they have great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Best bakery in Town of Poughkeepsie. They never fail!“
“Great space for a date night, study session, playing games with any group or individual (2 player games and group games; family-friendly games; games based on difficulty), or a place to chill out. The atmosphere is laid back, friendly, and inclusive. The food is always delicious. The drink selection is impressive and every beverage I've ordered has been amazing.Dietary restrictions: vegan and GF options“
“A absolute must whenever I am in the area. Nothing else compares to this entire experience from their mastery of flavor to their respect for their local (and global) community. A healing experience and reason to have hope when nearly every other business manipulates us with greenwashing. Communities must support such treasures as Lagusta’s Luscious.I tried and loved:Marzipan cookie (was not aware my taste buds could feel this much)A peachy tea special with oat milk (AHHHHH! SO GOOD! I wish I knew the name but order literally anything and im sure you’ll be blown away!)“
“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“
“I love coming to Chakra Bowls. The owner and staff are top notch. If you aren’t sure what you want, have questions or need something adjusted they are on it. I also love being able to come with my young child who can enjoy ordering for herself and enjoy eating something delicious and nutritious.“
“Third time I been here. Some people say it's pricey but it's literally no more expensive then a Fast Food combo and it's healthy. It seems lately anytime you go go to get food, shopping, paying a bill, the person acts like it's a burden that your choosing to spend your money supporting their business. All the ladies were extremely nice helpful happy to help me with anything I needed and did it with a smile the whole time. And shouts out to the Asia (and the other ladies) It was her first day and we all know how stressful and anxious your very first day is, she was so nice and sweet and actually didn't screw my order up which the most experienced servers still do. Alot of places like this just expect you to be able to read the money and understand it completely and then get angry when you ask a question. Everyone that I interacted with was extremely helpful, HAPPY to help, genuine, all bright smiles. The business is lucky to have them. If they leave I would happily hire them at my shop lol. Go here get a healthy breakfast, from employees with beautiful vibes and set the tone for a beautiful day!!! Thanks again Ps I don't really ever write yelps unless you totally suck Or you totally rocked and wanted to let you you made my day over something that simple. Just very refreshing to see nice friendly people these days! Acai Bowlshb“
“I was there last night. I ordered buffalo wings, popeye salad and salmon dinner. Someone in my group ordered smothered pork chops and fish and chips. All of the food was really good. Good portions and good prices. There was a jazz band playing in another area but could be heard in the dining room. The band plays from 6:30 to 9:30 on alternate Thursday nights. Service was very good and very short waits for food. Overall, this calls for a return visit.“
“The Bistro has been a very popular breakfast and lunch place in New Paltz for many years. Recently under new ownership, some things have changed. The breakfast and lunch aspect have stayed roughly the same, but they have added a VEGAN VIETNAMESE dinner six days a week. I don’t usually do reviews of places in NewPaltz, and wasn’t planning to, so I did not get pictures, will next time. Great food and make sure you try the bubble tea, probably the best in town!Vegetarian options: The DINNER is all vegan“
“I come here very often because they have a very cute themed drink menu that my kids love. Lots of unique flavors and options for boba.Would be five stars but a huge bummer they don’t have a customer bathroom. I also wish the traditional boba tasted fresher!“
“Just learned of this place and met a friend for lunch. Everyone I talked to said it was fantastic and I have to agree. The food was delicious and they were accommodating with my adding an item to my sandwich. My friend had a side salad which was huge and a bowl of soup. Both she said were delicious. This is a cafe where you stand in line to order your food , find a table and sit down, and they will bring it to you when it's ready. There tends to be a long line when you go in to order your food, but it does go fast. The people taking your order are friendly and listen well to what you are asking for. They ask the appropriate questions regarding what you can add to your food item and if you I'm not quite sure what you want, they're willing to offer suggestions. The food was delicious. And it was plentiful. Their French fries were some of the best I've tasted. I do not know what the seasoning is on them, but I recommend them. Not your ordinary run of the mill French fries. I will be back and I highly recommend this cafe.“
“Wow-- great value for a superb product! I bought an apple pie, coffee cake crumble, chocolate chip cookie and some sort of truffle offering and my family LOVED everything! Great chatting with the students/ staff. My son attends Marist University (down the road) and I'll be back to CIA on my future visits!“
“Definitely the spot for breakfast in Dutchess County. There yummy mouth water original creations will have your mouth watering in no time .. fast, friendly, professional environment and staff. Just a joy to visit and order food Everytime. ?“
“This place deserves 5 stars. The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. They serve mouthwatering authentic Mexican dishes. Their aguas frescas and atole drinks are superb as well. I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it.Starter Suggestions:Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus juice)Horchata (sweet rice milk beverage)Atole - Champurrado (like hot chocolate)Tacos (not the Tex-MEX)Sopes (great breakfast item)Tostadas (crispy corn tortilla with toppings)Tortas (Mexican style sandwich)Tlayudas (Mexican version of a pizza, if you will)Milanesa de pollo (chicken cutlet)“
“Fresh baked delicious sweet breads. I'm so glad I stopped in .. the selection of treats is almost overwhelming, but I managed to pick 3 and was not disappointed by any of them. The sweetness is just right, but the flaky pastry and breads are truly artful. You should stop next time you go by - park in Dollar General if you don't want to park on the street, but there aren't any parking meters here, so either way the parking is free. I highly recommend getting your next fresh baked treat from Gisselle's!“
“I was a little disappointed by the brownies I got here. They tasted like cardboard sprinkled with cocoa powder. They looked fudgey and sweet but tasted nothing like what they looked like. The staff were friendly and the upstairs has many tables in a diner-booth style. I'll try another baked-good next time and hopefully, I can change my rating.“
“I'm on the fence, I've had awful lasagna (brick of mush and sauce) and the most amazing Alfredo. I've found dishes I really like and stick with them. I do really like their grandma pizza. Best to call in your orders rather than go online. They are nice people all in all.“
“The only place around here that makes egg sammys like this! Soooooo good. It’s hard to find an authentic New York deli in these parts. I’ve only had breakfast there but so far so delicious! Reasonably priced also.Vegetarian options: They also have vegan cream cheese“
“Just had breakfast at Underground this morning. They have been closed in the morning since Covid but now have new owners. The coffee was just as good as it used to be and the breakfast was much better. It’s great to have a good coffee shop and breakfast spot again in Highland. I did stop in for dinner when the new owners had just taken over but they were out of a lot of things and hadn’t gotten their liquor license yet. It looks like they are still working on getting beers in tap but they do have cans and bottle of beer and wine now. The breakfast really was very good. The best spot for breakfast in Highland now for sure. I’ll leave another review the next time we go for dinner to see if they have gotten all the wrinkles ironed out. We got the eggs Benedict with spinach and the breakfast tacos.“
