“Bad Seed was always our favorite HV cidery. We fell in love with their cider and beautiful orchard when we used to live down the road. When we got engaged we immediately reached out to inquire about having our wedding there, fully expecting that it would be out of our budget. Instead, it was one of the most affordable options in the area so we immediately booked it! We are so so grateful for Devin and the incredible staff at Bad Seed, who went out of their way to make sure us and our guests had the best time. Everyone commented on how great the cider was, how beautiful the ceremony and reception space was, and how kind the bartenders were. It was the best day, and will forever be our favorite place to return to every time we visit family in the area. If you’re getting married in the Hudson Valley, look no further than Bad Seed, it has it all!“

“What a great, classic diner! Bright and shiny and fresh and clean. We had one dinner and two breakfasts at the Gateway Diner, and everything was great. What a wonderful, friendly staff. On the days we had bacon and eggs, and toast and home fries for breakfast, we didn't eat any lunch, we were so full! Burgers for dinner were delicious and more french fries than we could eat.“

“I could scream this place is so good. Went on a totally random whim looking for something nearby and holy hell this place is incredible in every way and if I lived anywhere nearby I would basically move in.

The vibes are amazing - such highly curated art and seating from intimate booths to living room sofas and chairs. There’s tons of varied seating up front and then more tables and a wraparound bar in the back. It feels like a cozy 70s basement bar in Greenpoint.

Then there’s the food, omg. We tried the deviled eggs, fried chicken, brisket nachos, fries, and kale salad. All were 10/10. And cocktails were also delish.

Fave new place and will seek it out at all costs any time I’m upstate.“

“Touch of Naples is by far the best pizza in the Hudson Valley. Anyone who thinks differently is unfortunately wrong. I’ve been going here for 38 years and the quality has always been unbelievable. Their old style Sicilian and grandma pizzas are amazing. The giant slice is a great value. And the selection of different slices at the counter is fantastic. Awesome staff very friendly reasonable prices. They don’t deliver, you know why… They’ve never needed to. It’s worth going there.“

“Okay... first of all - I ordered for take-out and my husband is lucky this food even made it home. The car smelled so good, I wanted to pull over to eat it right there. Both the chowder and stuffed clams had big, tasty pieces of clam. I got the Mac & Cheese with garlic shrimp - there were no less than 20 pieces of roasted cloves which were sweet and delicious. The shrimp was completely deveined and tender. My husband thought the stuffed clams were a little salty, I thought they were perfect, so do what you want with that. I am verily looking forward to my next visit.“

I would give 100 stars if I could. The woman is the nicest hardest woman I know. The husband is just as good. They make everything fresh. If I had one complaint, it would be that It’s because I don’t live next door and have to drive 20 min each way but It’s so worth it. My wife is such a picky person when going out. She absolutely loves this place.
Chicken Tortillas Soup is amazing. We get it at least once a week. Enchiladas are delicious. Everything is delicious.

“We had a fantastic experience at Zeus Brewing while visiting from out of town. Maria, our server, was absolutely AWESOME —she picked the perfect beer flight for me, and everything she suggested was spot on. The Reuben burger was absolutely delicious, and I can't stop thinking about the peach and basil beer—it was such a unique and refreshing flavor. The hostess also gave us great recommendations for things to do while we’re in town. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!“

“It’s tucked away down a narrow side street. Understated decor, small and intimate. Avoid wearing big coats and keep your voice down. There’s an outdoor patio as well (weather permitting), if you don’t mind the busier outdoor environment.

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years, and 3 girlfriends. When we say we want Sushi, we mean Hokkaido. My child’s first Sushi meal was here.

It can be very busy on weekends, especially during pleasant weather. I recommend you call ahead. A very large menu too, so, I recommend you study the menu online and have your ideas ready. They’ll help you with suggestions, but that means you’re slowing us all down.

Eating alone, then maybe eat at the bar and enjoy watching the sushi get maid.

I recommend the pan fried gyoza, edamame and string beans. I love the spicy rolls, eel and Monster roll. Take out available. Lots of fans order their food for pick up. But, I don’t like to transport my fresh food.

Had my first warm Sake here. Loved it.
