“My wife Donna and I just enjoyed a fabulous Valentines Day dinner at Downtown Cafe. We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“Great food service. I have never found a place that makes a better margarita. Most places make what I call “girly” margaritas. A true margarita is like a martini or manhattan. With the liquor the # 1 ingredient. Santa Fe makes a true margarita. The food is also very fresh and made to offer. Never found a place that makes better tacos.“

“Top shelf!!! We had a group of 17 for lunch. Everyone raved about the excellent food and the wonderful and friendly service. Our menu included London Broil, Salmon, Ceasars Salad with Chicken and Vegetable Quiche with side salad. We had a variety of servings. Everything was sooooo good! Best restaurant in Kingston. We couldn't have chosen a better place.“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

I was bummed when the girl told me the other day that baked ziti had meat sauce!
That was a flat out lie! I would have never gotten it.

“What a great little find in Kingston. My wife and I had a delightful dinner on the patio. Thursday was half-price margarita night and I had the opportunity to enjoy a perfectly prepared frozen margarita. The guacamole was among the best I’ve had and the quesabirria was meaty and cheesy and just delicious. Great vibe. Great food. Great people.“

“Nice spot! The atmosphere is super welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t drink alcohol but hubby thought their craft beers are top-notch, with Hurricane Kitty and Mother's Milk being my favorites. They also have live music events that make the place even more fun. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!“

“So many community members, businesses, friends & family, came together to support the Gribbon family in their recent renovation at the new location. The new High Falls Cafe is beautiful! It has the same welcoming atmosphere as its previous location, but this is so much better! Food and service are great, and they have been very busy since opening a few weeks ago. If you want to ensure that you can get a table, make a reservation in advance!“

“First thing I noticed was the beautiful engraved door. Very friendly atmosphere. We were offered drinks while waiting to be seated for dinner. I had a coconut margarita which was amazing! I normally don’t drink margaritas. The guacamole was so fresh! Delicious! My husband and daughter loved the calamari! My husband got the Casa Villa Seafood, he was in heaven! The portions were large we left with two bags of food. The staff from start to finish were really impeccable! 10 out of 10. We will be returning!“

“We were a group of 24 on Nov 1. Location was convenient for the theater. Service was great, food was excellent and portions were more than generous. Chicken salad, pot pie and corned beef Reuben burgers were some of the favorites. Special thanks to Jessica for taking such good care of us!“

“Unassuming Salvadoran food truck conveniently located right by the Kingston Trailway bus station. Had two delicious chicken and cheese pupusas that were beautifully paired with a crunchy and acidic coleslaw. A delicious pitstop during a bus layover.“

“I went here last week with a big group for a surprise birthday lunch. I am not into any type of Asian food for lunch so I ordered two sushi rolls (Avocado and Cucumber) which were delicious and just right. My dinner mates went to the max and had full menu choices. Everyone seemed very happy. The cooking show, is always fun. He was great, service was very efficient, very nice inside, was able to park right on the street (note you have to pay) so I recommend give it a try!“

“I’ve struggled with finding really delicious wings in the area. It seems like Buffalo was the only place to go-until now. I was recommended to this place and I’m very happy with the quality of the wings. I had Thai and extra hot wings. The only thing is that the extra hot wasn’t hot at all to me. But that’s just me and that certainly doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and the excellent service. Next time I’ll just specify exactly how hot I want the wings. I highly recommend Hickory to anyone who is looking for delicious smoked food.“

“Just had takeout again from Eng's and it was amazing. Since they re-opened the food is so good. You can tell it is cooked with care, and fresh ingredients. You can taste fresh ginger and garlic. The dumplings were delicious as was the fried rice and Sesame Chicken. Bravo!“

“Don’t let the outside fool you. This place has terrific pizza, lots of options, and is reasonably priced. The dough is the perfect thickness with a little crunch. The cheese and sauce are outstanding. If they fixed up the outside, I’d give it 5 stars all around.“

“I LOVE Sunshine! It’s our go-to place as we live in midtown. I’m vegan and they make me the most amazing steamed tofu and broccoli - I legit crave it during the week. My hubby often gets the shrimp moo shoo and our kiddo gets the chicken and broccoli and we all LOVE it. The owners are so friendly. AND it’s affordable, what’s not to love? The flavors are amazing and you just taste the freshness too no day old fried wontons here! - the crab rangoons were crispy , full of flavor, with just the right amount of filling. I’m telling ya folks- this is THE SPOT to get your food from - super fast delivery / food was super hot - as if I was at the restaurant- portions are good size…. did I mention the sauces?
