“We had a special couples meal tonight at Silvia . The hostess greeted us with a smile and showed us to a corner table ; perfect for a one on one chat . Our server Ally was knowledgeable and very personable ..on her recommendation we started with a house-made ginger rosemary non alcoholic drink ..wow ! Then we had oysters and the prosciutto and figs ..both were excellent ..our mains were the mushroom and asparagus over pasta and the smoked pork chop on polenta ..OUTSTANDING . Ally was attentive without being intrusive .. The manager stopped by to thank us for coming in . All the staff seem happy and effective ..great space , lovely vibe . we drove 75 min for the meal and it was well worth it ., HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“Love love Garden Cafe! The food is amazing, service is always great (quick and very friendly), and setting is cozy and convenient (right in the heart of Woodstock). Their creativity with food and beverages is why we keep coming back. Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian or neither, you’ll find something very tasty. I’m vegan and this is my favorite restaurant of all for food, people, and atmosphere. Highly recommend! Oh and the owner is one of the kindest, most genuine and caring people you’ll be lucky to meet“

“Another great visit to Sharkie’s in Woodstock! We always make it a point to eat here, and it somehow keeps getting better. Stopped in for meatballs and wine while waiting for takeout, loved it so much we stayed an extra day just to come back for meatball subs. Mark is such a warm, genuine owner, and Sharkie’s is truly a safe, welcoming place for all. Bonus: we grabbed frozen meatballs as Christmas gifts and love that they can be delivered now. “Really wanted to love this place, however with working in Asian fusion restaurants, the food experience left a lot to be desired. The dumplings were really disappointing given you have Yum Yum noodle bars across the street which are consistently amazing. Drinks were good, food was less than average , bar service was less than average for the Hudson River Valley.“

“A colleague and I had lunch at the Woodstock Pub recently on a social outing and it was terrific! The food was amazing and the service was spectacular! The Rumosa was incredible too - I would highly recommend! I had the Spanakopita and the Eggplant Rollatini - my colleague had the steamers and the lamb burger. All amazing, and huge portions!“
