“This area does not have lots of food choices. Most of what you find is mediocre at best. Then comes Lucky Catskills. It was like seeing a mirage. What is a place like this doing out in the sticks. We had the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. They sold out of the dumpling. It was good for what is worth. I would recommend if you are tired of the typical sandwiches and fried foods that’s all over this area. Change of pace.“

“Dont let the name mislead you. They do serve diner food but it is, imo, the best diner food I have ever had. I prepare my own meals. I dont like to go to restaurants because most dont prepare food I am satisfied with, taste or freshnessof ingredients. This place sets the bar higher for the other local restaurants. The food is very good, and Ive tried almost everything. The prices are reasonable. This is my favorite place to eat beside my own cooking. The owners, the staff all very nice people. “Came here while driving through town on a whim with my husband and dog and ate outside. Servers were welcoming & friendly. Food was great. We ordered the wings, a chicken sandwich and a burger. (Bonus was the free popcorn 😉) would come again if we're ever in the area“

The fast food, despite the limited menu after 8 am, was enough for us. We had the best wine of the trip, the Mark West Pinot noir, from California, I highly recommend it.

“What a fantastic restaurant. I can honestly say this is the best restaurant that I have ever eaten, in the Catskills. The menu had many seafood options, which I have to admit made me nervous. The tuna was off the wall Great! The table next to us had oysters which looked great. Our other dish was chicken which was cooked perfectly and very large. And I can’t forget to mention the cocktails. Great service with great service.“
