“We had dinner here twice during our stay at the Hunter Lodge. Both times we had the pleasure of being served by Stephanie, who was warm, knowledgeable, and very patient :) The first night, we ordered the smash burger and chicken sandwich, and our kids had the chicken tenders and kids hamburger. All meals were great, but the smash burger was the winner! There was also live music, which made the meal even more special. The second evening we had the fish and chips, kids mac and cheese, and the gnocchi (served pot pie style). Fries were hot and delicious both nights. Again, we were really happy with the dishes, and shout out to the team for keeping the restaurant open on a Monday (when it’s normally closed) because of the snowstorm. It made our stay that much more memorable!! Looking forward to coming back in the fall :)“

The server had a lot of tables but she was kind, efficient and thoughtful! We would highly recommend to visit if in the area. We travel full time and eat out ALOT- this was one of the best places we have been to!“

“Photographer here! I photographed an engagement session at this location, and I can't say enough about how beautiful it is. We visited in the fall, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. The staff went above and beyond for my clients by preparing a cozy fireplace, a charcuterie board, and wine, and they even kept an eye out for their arrival to make the experience feel extra special.

I also had the chance to eat at the restaurant, and the food was excellent. When we entered the inn, we were welcomed with warm cookies, which was such a thoughtful touch. The interior is beautiful, with a rustic, antique charm that photographs incredibly well.

I hope my wife and I get the chance to stay here someday as guests. From a photographer's perspective, it's an amazing location for engagement sessions and a place I would happily recommend.“

“Celiac accommodating and aware! used a separate pan for my daughters eggs and toasted her toast on the grill to avoid cross contamination in the toaster and griddle! Priceless knowing my daughters meal was safe. absolutely delicious..she cleared her plate! gluten free rice Krispy treats too!“

“This area does not have lots of food choices. Most of what you find is mediocre at best. Then comes Lucky Catskills. It was like seeing a mirage. What is a place like this doing out in the sticks. We had the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. They sold out of the dumpling. It was good for what is worth. I would recommend if you are tired of the typical sandwiches and fried foods that’s all over this area. Change of pace.“

There Brio Cheese steak is out of this world and the California Ruban will have you Drooling for seconds and Don't get me started on the GARLIC CURLY FRIES 🍟 THEY ARE MOUTH WATERING need to stop in have breakfast lunch or dinner Open 8 am to 9pm THANK YOU“

“Came here while driving through town on a whim with my husband and dog and ate outside. Servers were welcoming & friendly. Food was great. We ordered the wings, a chicken sandwich and a burger. (Bonus was the free popcorn 😉) would come again if we're ever in the area“
