“Absolutely loved our stay at Deer Mountain Inn. It’s one of those places that feels special from the moment you arrive. beautiful, cozy, incredibly peaceful, and full of character without ever feeling overly precious.

The property and surrounding grounds are stunning, the rooms are charming and comfortable, and the food was fantastic. More than anything, the entire experience just feels thoughtful and relaxed. The staff couldn’t have been warmer or more welcoming.

It’s the perfect escape from the city and a place we’ll definitely be coming back to. Couldn’t recommend it more!“

“This area does not have lots of food choices. Most of what you find is mediocre at best. Then comes Lucky Catskills. It was like seeing a mirage. What is a place like this doing out in the sticks. We had the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. They sold out of the dumpling. It was good for what is worth. I would recommend if you are tired of the typical sandwiches and fried foods that’s all over this area. Change of pace.“

“We had dinner here twice during our stay at the Hunter Lodge. Both times we had the pleasure of being served by Stephanie, who was warm, knowledgeable, and very patient :) The first night, we ordered the smash burger and chicken sandwich, and our kids had the chicken tenders and kids hamburger. All meals were great, but the smash burger was the winner! There was also live music, which made the meal even more special. The second evening we had the fish and chips, kids mac and cheese, and the gnocchi (served pot pie style). Fries were hot and delicious both nights. Again, we were really happy with the dishes, and shout out to the team for keeping the restaurant open on a Monday (when it’s normally closed) because of the snowstorm. It made our stay that much more memorable!! Looking forward to coming back in the fall :)“
