“Had the best and most relaxing afternoon here at Arrowood Farms. Everyone was in a good mood - from the kids laughing and running, to the dogs with their tails wagging. The food was great and the drinks were even better. Pro-tip, keep your tab open because you’ll be back to order more! Can’t wait for the next sunny weekend to come back.“
“It is one of our favorite hangouts in the Hudson Valley. It has a great vibe, great food, great ambience, both in the winter and the summer time. Service is good and the food is very comfort food that makes you feel you are eating at home. The pizza is Roman style so thinner than most and very tasty. A great spot close to Kingston and the Mohonk preserve“
“The Stone House Tavern is incredible! It is obvious they take great pride in food, drinks and service. We've been there a few times and it never disappoints whether it is a burger or a full meal. We were with friends recently and both my husband and our friend called their burgers "epic" :) Our server was friendly and professional and we had a great time. It sure is nice to be greeted with a smile!“
“So delicious! The food and drinks were amazing. My family and I were visiting from Connecticut and my husband booked the wrong date by accident. The owner was so kind and made it work for our party of 5. We really appreciated the effort that was made to accommodate us. We know good food and from start to finish it was amazing. The atmosphere is very stylish and we had a great time. The next time we stay at Wildflower Auberge we will be back!!“
“We stopped in while on a road trip from Delaware to Montreal. What a cool little place! It's a combination tea/coffee place. The person who helped us could not have been nicer. I had the Maple Rosemary Latte which was amazing! We would certainly frequent this place if we lived in the area. Check it out!“
“Love this little spot! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for some home cooking flavor away from home! Just don’t drive too fast because you’ll miss it like I almost did!! But I had to turn around. The coconut chicken is amazing!!! Must try!!! Respect and love to the owners of this little gem for bringing a bit of the homeland here to Ulster County!!Parking: The parking is off to the rear and can easily accommodate a good 10/12 vehicles easily but I can imagine in the warmer months they may need more space because the food and service is that good!!“
“My all time favorite restaurant! Consistently excellent, we have been coming here for 35 years and have never once had a bad meal. Authentic German specialties are out of this world, everything is made with the finest ingredients and is very reasonably priced. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is charming in this wonderful family owned restaurant! No other restaurant even comes close!“
“Loved the tour and the bar! Everyone was warm and welcoming. I’m not a whiskey drinker but I learned the difference (in knowledge and taste!) of bourbon vs rye. The flight is really cute, comes in little vials and a glass that you can take home.“
“This is not your average old school Hudson valley ice cream shop. They take care of you like they are, but they have a modern looking building and menu and great customer service. I’m on a keto diet so I got a burger and hot dog without buns. They might not look enticing from the pictures but they were great and fit right into my diet.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my keto requests no problem. They even wrapped my burger in lettuce for me.“
“My wife and I came for a Friday night dinner. We made reservations last minute and glad we did as the place was packed. Service was high quality and the folks were very warm. The food and drinks was insanely good! The Rasta pasta was delicious and we enjoyed our leftovers so much. The jerk wings were so tender and the dry rub was spicy and flavorful. We were lucky to meet the chef Chris briefly and he was very kind. The cafe and provisions store is also really great. The coffee was tasty and the breakfast sandwiches were dope right before a hike.“
“This was such a great find while me and my husband were upstate for a few days. I loved that they had GF options and the food was so fresh and delicious. We went once and then came back the next day since it was so good. Very reasonable as well. I recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pancakes and bread available“
“A absolute must whenever I am in the area. Nothing else compares to this entire experience from their mastery of flavor to their respect for their local (and global) community. A healing experience and reason to have hope when nearly every other business manipulates us with greenwashing. Communities must support such treasures as Lagusta’s Luscious.I tried and loved:Marzipan cookie (was not aware my taste buds could feel this much)A peachy tea special with oat milk (AHHHHH! SO GOOD! I wish I knew the name but order literally anything and im sure you’ll be blown away!)“
“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“
“Stopped in Saturday on the way back from the city. What a fun spot! The upper level is a country barn and down stairs is a warm rustic brewery. We didnt order food but they have a kitchen and many guests were eating. Tried a berry berry sour pilsner ipa all went down easy. The band was also a highlight brought the revelry up a notch.“
“Hands down my favorite place in New Paltz for lunch or dinner, dine-in or takeout. First-rate food, excellent preparation in a kitchen visible from the dining room and the best staff in the business. Cannot recommend Lola's Cafe New Paltz enough–five stars and A+“
“My partner and I came here Valentine’s Day weekend and sampled their Wine and Chocolate pairing. The winery is small but beautiful. The different wines we had were ok. I’m not sure that the pairings matched. The wine called “Candy” was way too sweet, even by dessert wine standards, and the peach chocolate it was paired with was also incredibly sweet and ruined our whole palate for the rest of the wine tasting. The “I-87” red wine was our favorite. It had subtle notes of coffee and smokiness. The place is quaint and has a barn vibe. They also had live music which was nice. The firepit was on and added to the nice, barn vibe.“
“Even though I make pizza all the time, I still have to get my weekly Ollie's fix! The staff is wonderful and the quality of the food is seriously amazing, and the margarita pie is on par with what you will find in Napoli. I also love the white and grandma pies. We're vegetarian and have no problem stuffing our faces. Haven't tried the vegan option, but I'm sure it must be good as well!Vegetarian options: There are many pies and sandwiches that are vegetarian, not to mention the salads and various appetizers. If you don't eat meat, you'll have plenty to pick from!“
“The service was great I would highly recommend this winery over Robibero the service we experienced there was very awkward and rude. Whitecliff is a million times better. The Lagrange is great it's probably one of the best wines I have ever had and and immediately fell in love with it and bought 3 bottles.“
“Went on a Thursday afternoon. Food was excellent. Calamari was fantastic. It was perfectly cooked and paired with a basil aoli. Braised short rib was fall apart and excellent. The beer battered fried chicken was delicious and went great with the yellow Yukon mashed potatoes. I would also like to compliment the bar, both the pomegranate margarita and old fashioned were excellent. In short I drove a half hour to eat here and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Staff was friendly and helpful.“
“Very, very good BBQ. Done on sight. Brisket, pulled pork, or ribs that u will literally cry for more. We ride up in a group. It's a long ride from home but well worth it. Been following outpost from first location to the mobile smoke hose on wheels to the present location which has a dinning room with a stage. “
“Came here for drinks and it's a cool vibe. The service is quick and friendly. It definitely is your typical dive bar with a billiard table and it's full of locals. They have some classic beers on tap and it's a cash only bar. A pitcher of beer costs $13 and on Thursdays they do $2 mystery pitchers.“
“I was a little disappointed by the brownies I got here. They tasted like cardboard sprinkled with cocoa powder. They looked fudgey and sweet but tasted nothing like what they looked like. The staff were friendly and the upstairs has many tables in a diner-booth style. I'll try another baked-good next time and hopefully, I can change my rating.“
“A super chill spot with good drinks and quality pub food. The property is spacious and pretty. Looks like a big music venue space and an outdoor bar as well, although when we visited neither were in use. There were families and couples spread out on picnic tables all over, eating and having fun. This is a great place for a casual meet with a large group.Ordering food happens at the bar inside and when your buzzer goes off you come back to pick it up. We had a fried chicken sandwich, a Bibb salad, fries, a pretzel, and wings. Everything was tasty and super high quality. There is no table service so you've got to bus you own plates and what not. We had a great time and would make this place a regular spot if we lived close by.“
