Really friendly staff and good vibes. Cozy and has a nice back porch. A great option if you want to actually want to talk to the people you are with. They have cool dance parties in front on Saturday nights in the summer.2023 update (I originally wrote this review in the late 2010s) - this place still rules, idk if the dance parties are a thing at the moment but still a lovely spot for a drink with friends. Cute little wine bar right in the New Paltz Water street Market! Great drinks and friendly bartenders! Have come many times for a drink or before dinner at one of the other local restaurants.

Love this little bar. There's even a small balcony with a view to the Gunks, and a little raised bed of herbs that the bartender uses for drinks... so fresh lavender in your cocktail...be still my senses, only one at a time please! Service is always lovely and welcoming. If you like Bourbon, a cocktail called the "Bees Knees" is the way to go.
