“Came to the area for a relaxing weekend away from home and searched for some local places to hangout once at our airbnb and this was on the list! It did not disappoint at all! The perfect little hidden gem to hangout and have a few drinks. My fiancé and I had the old fashioned and Pomme Oh. Both were made to perfection and we hope to come back real soon! “My all time favorite restaurant! Consistently excellent, we have been coming here for 35 years and have never once had a bad meal. Authentic German specialties are out of this world, everything is made with the finest ingredients and is very reasonably priced. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is charming in this wonderful family owned restaurant! No other restaurant even comes close!“
“Love this little spot! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for some home cooking flavor away from home! Just don’t drive too fast because you’ll miss it like I almost did!! But I had to turn around. The coconut chicken is amazing!!! Must try!!! Respect and love to the owners of this little gem for bringing a bit of the homeland here to Ulster County!!Parking: The parking is off to the rear and can easily accommodate a good 10/12 vehicles easily but I can imagine in the warmer months they may need more space because the food and service is that good!!“

As someone who is hard to please when it comes to food, I was thoroughly impressed with how they were able to make us so happy. “What better thing to do when the wind chill factor tries to keep you indoor than to visit a distillery. Enjoyed a few hours at Tuthilltown Distillery and the 7 samples I tried in the tasting room. I ended up with 2 bottles that I couldn’t walk away from and some gifts (shot glasses) generously given to us by the staff. The staff were welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable. Do plan to return for the tour provided once the weather is better. Until then, have my 2 bottles to have at home…“
“I had a great time here today with my two friends. We reserved a spot by the fire pits and had the best experience due to our server, Kenan. He went above and beyond to make sure we received the best service and taught us so much about the cider making process, while also informing us on all the different ciders served.Very great time!“
“My partner and I came here Valentine’s Day weekend and sampled their Wine and Chocolate pairing. The winery is small but beautiful. The different wines we had were ok. I’m not sure that the pairings matched. The wine called “Candy” was way too sweet, even by dessert wine standards, and the peach chocolate it was paired with was also incredibly sweet and ruined our whole palate for the rest of the wine tasting. The “I-87” red wine was our favorite. It had subtle notes of coffee and smokiness. The place is quaint and has a barn vibe. They also had live music which was nice. The firepit was on and added to the nice, barn vibe.“
“The service was great I would highly recommend this winery over Robibero the service we experienced there was very awkward and rude. Whitecliff is a million times better. The Lagrange is great it's probably one of the best wines I have ever had and and immediately fell in love with it and bought 3 bottles.“
“This was my first time at this indoor event menu and I was totally taken by surprise. The sound was terrific; at any seat you are close to the stage even as the large as the room is with tables that seat about 600 people (a bit close together). The food is very good as well. Raul Malo was unbelievably awesome!!!“
“So delicious! The food and drinks were amazing. My family and I were visiting from Connecticut and my husband booked the wrong date by accident. The owner was so kind and made it work for our party of 5. We really appreciated the effort that was made to accommodate us. We know good food and from start to finish it was amazing. The atmosphere is very stylish and we had a great time. The next time we stay at Wildflower Auberge we will be back!!“
