“Love this place. Usually they have several soft serve flavors that I enjoy. Unfortunately last time I went , the didn't. This place gives a generous size cone, so unless you're wanting allot of ice cream, order yourself a small. I have to travel 15 miles to get there, even though I have about ten other establishments closer to my home, but I make the trip regularly because it's such good ice cream. I highly recommend you try it out.“
“My little girl and I have stopped in a couple times before going to the movies. This place is a little gem. It's warm and inviting as well. The owner is friendly and is all about customer service. The ice cream store is extremely clean and they have seating available for you and your family as well. We live an hour away and enjoy this place over all of the other ice cream places in between. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.“
“Four hot fudge sundaes yesterday \u003d less than $20.00, I think this is a reasonable price. The large sundae my neighbor ordered, it was the size of a large paper cup one would get from McDonalds, to fill with soda. Very large/generous servings. Lots of memories here as a child, coming to the diner AND Twin Cone with my parents; now, I am bringing my own kids. The staff was friendly, approachable, still smiling in spite of the long lines and hot sun yesterday \u0026 I appreciate that.“
“Ice cream is excellent. Assorted meals available. Posting options is seriously confusing. Info is scattered haphazardly around the ordering window and requires that you're already familiar with their menu. No prices posted. Staff is polite and helpful. Some organization in formation of lines in busy times would be helpful.“
“Barthel's has been an Ellenville landmark for 70 years. It's everything a farmer's market should be, bursting with fresh fruits and vegetables, home made pies, and a refrigerator filled with excellent frozen meat. You can easily do a gourmet dinner party out of this place, and yet it is utterly unpretentious. The staff makes it one of the friendliest places in the Catskills. Don't miss the garlic stuffed green olives--no Martini should ever be made without them. And after decades of holding out against them, they now even take credit cards.“
“Needed a gluten-free, nut free charcuterie for our family gathering this past weekend. 15. Good eaters. Not only were the boards delicious, they were a beautiful holiday centerpiece. So sorry I didn’t take a picture to post. Highly recommend Blue Devil Bar and Grill. Job well done!!!!Dietary restrictions: Several family members with celiac and severe nut allergies. We ate in confidence that the food was prepared as requested.“
“Have stopped in many times. The ice cream ingredients giving it excellent flavor. Always friendly service. I do find it a little pricey, but it seems like most ice cream stands are getting more expensive. I find it a good place for a treat.“
“This appears to be a family owned ice cream parlor. The lady inside was nice as my granddaughter couldn't make up her mind on the variety of ice cream they have. She was very patient and understood she was dealing with a 6 yr old. Will be back again.“
“I stopped to celebrate National Hot Fudge Sundae Day and had a Soft Serve Espresso Hot Fudge Sundae that was delicious and very reasonably priced. The girls working behind the counter this afternoon were very friendly and attentive so service was excellent both for myself and watching others that went to the counter while I was enjoying my Sundae. I stopped on my way home from meeting a friend elsewhere and will definitely go when I am up that way again.“
