“What an amazing place. We came without a reservation at the suggestion of our innkeeper and had the most delicious meal. The staff was accommodating ( did I mention it was Hudson Valley restaurant week?) and warm. The appetizers, crispy brussel sprouts and mushroom crostini, were meals unto themselves. The pork chop was tender and flavorful with a jammy apricot covering. the pike was flaky and beautifully paired with crab salad and pickled mussels. And the dessert! “This cute little spot has the BEST food! Everything is made fresh, which adds to the wait time of getting your food but it's worth the extra time. The owner and servers have always been incredibly personable and attentive. Make sure to call ahead or go early if you do plan on eating in. Because of the small quarters, it can be hard to seat a group during busy hours.“

“Carmen's is like going to your Latino chef grandmother! The food is delicious well cooked and full of memory flavors!! The setting is lovely for warmer weather although they do have gas fireplaces out side! The owners/ staff are very friendly and helpful. The gandules and rice is one of my favorites. The pork amazing.. the sauces are delicious !! It's a great place to go for good food and a picnic !!“

“Came to the area for a relaxing weekend away from home and searched for some local places to hangout once at our airbnb and this was on the list! It did not disappoint at all! The perfect little hidden gem to hangout and have a few drinks. My fiancé and I had the old fashioned and Pomme Oh. Both were made to perfection and we hope to come back real soon! “My wife and I came for a Friday night dinner. We made reservations last minute and glad we did as the place was packed. Service was high quality and the folks were very warm. The food and drinks was insanely good! The Rasta pasta was delicious and we enjoyed our leftovers so much. The jerk wings were so tender and the dry rub was spicy and flavorful. We were lucky to meet the chef Chris briefly and he was very kind.The cafe and provisions store is also really great. The coffee was tasty and the breakfast sandwiches were dope right before a hike.“
