“Nice cozy brewery hidden away at a farm. I went during the winter and I can imagine how this place is in the summer.The bar is nice and cozy. Very woodsy. For appetizers, there is a small offering of cheeses, cold cuts, crouton bread, and pop corn. You can bring or order your own food.Beer:Star of the show. My favorite beers were the pickle and hot pepper beer. Both were unique and very good. A-lot of the other beers did not have enough pow to make it memorable like these.Overall, this was a great experience for a farm to brewery setting. I brought my wife who doesn't drink so next time bring friends that do :)“
“Among the slate of breweries that have popped up the last several years in NYS, Plan Bee stands out as special. I've been to a crapton of breweries, locally as well as across the country, and I've yet to find beer quite like here. Like sours? You better. While some blend the borders, everything they make here could be classified under that style thanks to the yeast they harvest off the honeybees on the property to make their beer. That's on top of all their ingredients being grown on property or on an adjacent farm. Translation: this is next level commitment.The property itself is beautiful. I had come years ago and they've built it up nicely with a ton of seating and a beautiful taproom space without losing the remote character. You would not guess this is 5min from downtown Poughkeepsie from the pics and the feeling in person is the same. Literally saw a bald eagle in the distance this past visit. It's tranquil as f**** The beer is priced well for this type of place. Not everyone will appreciate it, however some who don't like beer normally may love this; my best friend hated beer his whole life, and this place broke him of that. Service is about as friendly and knowledgeable as it gets, given that the husband/wife team that runs the place are typically the ones serving you.My friends and I do a yearly brewery tour upstate, and this has been a consistent staple of that. This past visit the Cellar Beer, Breakfast and Morello were the winners for me. Hope they never change.“

The staff was incredibly helpful throughout the course of the day and our guests couldn't stop raving about the cider and atmosphere. “Walking in, the place is very cozy and intimate. There is a decent amount of seating and has dim lighting, could be used as a cute date night spot or if you want some pretty good sushi. Going on a Thursday night, it wasn't busy at all and got seated right away. The server was friendly and welcoming, was attentive on anything we needed as well (filling waters, taking orders, boxes for leftovers).The food was great and worth the price tag, both the rolls (spicy tuna and spicy scallop) tasted fresh and my friend who ordered the special rolls was satisfied as his ordered was surprisingly large. Not the normal sized rolls, so if you do order the special rolls, they are sizable. If you're looking for sushi in the area, I would check this place out.“
“Our Dream Wedding!!! We had our wedding at Nostrano Vineyards and it was a dream come true. Nostrano was the first venue we visited and we knew it was the one!! Kayleigh was so great to work with and very accomodating. The most beautiful views of upstate NY. The barn is gorgeous!! They are very well-known in the area and all of our vendors had such great relationships with Nostrano, making our wedding planning and day of seamless. We can't wait to visit again soon. “We went for dinner on a Monday, it was pretty quiet but it was early. Everything was excellent. We got the scallop appetizer, French onion soup, ribeye, and chicken parm. The steak was cooked perfectly, I think the mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had. But most importantly, get the Coquilles St Jacques. My gosh it was so so good. Make sure you get some bread to soak up that sauce. We’ve been meaning to come for ages, and finally made it. We’ll be back. Service was great, both the waiter (JJ) and chef Jordan were friendly and welcoming.“

Hubby had the Parmesan crusted swordfish and said it was deliciously moist. I went with the bone in filet. What generous portions! “This might be my favorite place in Poughkeepsie. They have an innovative menu that is clearly the product of someone passionate about food. They were super accommodating to us when we came in, and just for the heck of it I ordered the burger and it's the best burger I've ever had in Poughkeepsie. They grow their own mushrooms and have a lot of beautiful mushroom dishes if that's your thing. They also have a really nice bar selection.“
“We can’t say enough great things about Benmarl winery. The service was excellent, and the wines were fantastic. My wife and I were there for their Valentines Day wine and cheese tasting and it did not disappoint. They were very attentive to all of the customers needs, and everyone around us looked like they were having as great of a time as we were. Also- the view is unbelievable, you have to experience it for yourself. I would highly recommend taking a trip to Benmarl, it was the highlight of our trip!“

They also offer to go sandwiches, coffee, and snacks of a higher quality for a stop right on the Taconic Parkway.The treats are handy if you're on your way to visit someone to give as a gift. Excellent place to stop and rest and get yourself a snack. Quality foods at an expected and also often pricey price.Nicely laid out with cheerful and helpful staff. They pack a lot into this petite store without it feeling chaotic or crammed.A delight and out of the ordinary for a stop right in the middle of the Taconic between the north and south lanes. “I go to school in the area and I noticed this new bubble tea store! The staff were really nice and the service was quick. I ordered the melon boba milk tea and it was sooo good. I think it might have been a tad too sweet but that can be adjusted with a few words. Overall, it was really good bubble tea with a cute and clean environment!“
