“This was my second visit. Great place to meet with friends and listen to live music. I see a the American equivalent of a British pub, but much more colorful and cozy. Good selection of tasty comfort food, excellent service, good assortment of draft beers, pool table next to a generously sized area for bands and open mics to play. I have seen a cozy and colorful outdoor patio area, but in both of my visits the rain prevented enjoying it.Wonderful hosts!“
“Average looking deli. VERY friendly staff - attentive, polite, and makes you feel at home. There was a hot buffet in addition to the menu as well as a special listed on a placard (Jack in the Box) which I got. The place was clean and quiet - just the way I like it. Food was as expected. Mac n cheese bites were pretty much trash - you could tell they came out of a frozen bag. Burger was good - not too big not too small. Came with onions and pickles - perfect! Fries were crispy and delicious. I really liked that they gave ketchup AND ranch with the meal. The special was a smallish burger, fries, Mac n cheese bites, and a drink - all for $8.69. A bargain in this area. I left feeling satisfied and I know I'll be back. They lost a star for the Mac n cheese bites. They should serve up some tostones or baked beans or something. Not enough to chase me away though...“
“Met another couple there who travel probably about 40 miles to this place when they can! I had the gorgonzola shrimp which was light and amazing (be sure to get extra bread for the sauce!) And for main course Veal Parmesan which was so tender and amazing! The canoli to finish it off was fresh and crispy shell! Definitely going back!?“
“Absolutely love Joe's Dairy Bar! I can't get enough of their delicious ice cream - it's simply the best! It's no surprise that this place is always buzzing with people, but the service is still top-notch. Their burgers and sandwiches are equally fantastic; they've got something for everyone. Joe's Dairy Bar is definitely my go-to spot for a satisfying meal and a sweet treat. Highly recommend!“
“Stopped in after a walk across the Hudson ! What an amazing surprise . The warm welcome, the choices with cocktails and the food are top notch ! Have been looking for a place like this for some time now . Can’t wait to go back . We had the warm olives and we both couldn’t believe how great olives are heated up ! “Delicious, affordable coffee with great service! They have seasonal items that are all delicious. They usually come out to your car in the drive thru to take ur order and they are so efficient! I've never waited more than a few minutes for my coffee. Coffee is smooth, rich, and delicious. I'm always satisfied with their drinks and it's in a convenient location.“

“DBC is so consistent with their amazing food and service that it makes it hard to go try other places when you know you will get consistency here. Great and tasty beer. Amazing burgers. So delicious fries! Appetizers all yummy. I came recently on a night with my wife and something that stood out for me that visit was when I watched one of the owners clearing a table. I made sure to make to tell them how admirable that was but so often you will see managers in other restaurants telling others to clean while they stand and watch them. The fact that the owners help out on the small tasks means how invested they are with their staff and business. We just asked my 4 year old last night what his favorite restaurant is and he said with confidence Dutchess Bier Cafe! Not sure if you’re aware but 4 year olds are picky eaters and he loves their burgers, fries, and makes sure that he can get the malt vinegar aioli! Thank you for being consistent but truly amazing!Kid-friendliness: My boys 4 and 7 love going and eating their Lil Dutchies!“
“I come here very often because they have a very cute themed drink menu that my kids love. Lots of unique flavors and options for boba.Would be five stars but a huge bummer they don’t have a customer bathroom. I also wish the traditional boba tasted fresher!“
“New to the area and am happy to have found a diner with great food and service. The owner and her family are kind are hospitable. They create a great atmosphere by decorating and hosting events for the holidays, which I love. Food is made right in front of you and is served quickly. Also, the bacon and French toast is amazing!!“
“I was in Fishkill for a doctor's appointment and it was a hot day so I was looking for a small ice cream place. I was sitting in the CVS parking lot and trying to look on my phone and it kept telling me I was already there. Which I thought was very funny. So I drove around to the back of the plaza to see what stores were open and all the way in the back was this Carnival ice cream shop. The owner was there. He was a very personable older gentleman .He said he makes 3/4 of the ice cream himself. The other ice cream comes from Perry's which is also a good brand. His prices are reasonable maybe even slightly lower than other places locally. He told me his mint chip was the best in the area so I took his word for it. I got a kiddie size mint chip with rainbow sprinkles. It was really tasty! He also does ice cream cakes and has plenty made to go that he can just initialize it for you with whatever you want to say and out you go. He also has individualize little ice creams. You can buy a 12 pack of mini ice creams or mini desserts for very reasonable price. Check out his store and see all the ice cream options that he has. It's a local place he's been there for years so give him some business. But you have to go all the way to the back of the plaza where the Gold's Gym is. So go have a workout and then go get ice cream! LOL. I will be back there in two weeks for my next doctor's appointment who is right across the street so I will make another visit.“
“Whenever I have a special occasion or am charged with "bring a dessert" I love going to The Cakery. They have a wide variety of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bars, cake pops, and cake balls. Their bakers are real artists who will work with you to create the perfect cake (cookie or traditional) that are as pretty to look at as they are to eat. It's tucked away in a shopping plaza so it can be easy to miss. It's worth the trip. My personal favorites: their bars (cheesecake, brookies) and cake balls (cookie dough is fabulous). Highly recommend if you want a sweet treat for yourself or a special event.“

“Adorable hole in the wall with great food. Very tiny space, absolutely slammed for Sunday brunch with just two FOH workers and no backup but they nailed it anyway. Sharp, fast staff. Precisely executed food. Glad we finally were able to make it in (they're closed Mondays when we normally have off work) so if you work a M-F job and can come on weekends, you should!“
“Food was decent, not as good as I expected. Husband's pizza was absolutely cold. Mine was barely warm. Very disappointed in that. Meals were okay, did not meet the hype I read in other reviews. The eggplant dip they give with the bread was delicious. Best part of the visit was David, our waiter. He has a great personality and is very customer-focused. He was very attentive and checked on us several times. I would go back just based on the service and atmosphere, everyone seemed friendly and down to earth. I would make sure to remind them to bring the pizza out hot, though.“

Not only does Rosemarie make beautiful bagel and sandwich platters, but she went above and beyond and added touches of flowers to my trays to match my wedding colors. I highly recommend for any event, or just for a quick bite to eat!“

“Great place to stop and stretch your legs. They have delicious ice cream, lots of local snacks like popcorn, chips, baked goods, along with an assortment of food products like crafted cheese, butter and other food products. The local sodas and kombucha were really great and they have cold brew in cans and hot coffees and hot chocolate as well.The porta potties were very clean too!!!“
“Everything was really fantastic. The food was spot on. The drinks were great, the environment was perfect. Entertainment was spot on. The only problem was the sound system. We had a very difficult time listening to the performer or honestly being able to listen to music. The distortion was crazy. Other than that, it's a first rate venue. Tina burner was on fire ?????“
