“Overlook Bakery in Woodstock is a delightful gem, offering a heavenly array of delicious pastries. I was thrilled to discover a variety of gluten-free options available, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The almond thumbprint adorned with apricot jam stealing the show as my personal favorite. The atmosphere exuded warmth and charm, making it the perfect spot to indulge in a leisurely pastry and coffee. Whether you're gluten-free or not, Overlook Bakery is a must-visit destination for anyone craving delicious, handcrafted treats in Woodstock.“
“My wife and I love going to Woodstock, NY. just to walk around and go through the shops, It's such a cute area with lots to do Whenever we're there, we always head at Moonrise Bagels to bring home 1/2 dozen or more bagels. I love the everything bagels covered on both sides with lots of everything, soft and chewy after toasting. I haven't got any stuffed Bagels yet, but they look awesome too, next time we go.We will be back for sure !“
“I would move here just to have this place be my neighborhood bar. Every walk of life is here and the vibe is immaculate. Great beers on tap and a straight forward snack menu. The bartender was quick and brought everything out to us which I did not expect. Hit this place“
“We needed an ice cream cake for our daughter's birthday, and we were coming from NYC. Nancy's was accommodating, allowing me to pick up the cake even though they were closed. They arranged a time for me to pick it up once we arrived at Woodstock.“
“Awesome spot with good cocktails - super vibey and great music. I love how the space is built into the trees which feels very organic and Woodstock-y. Food has gotten better, but mostly come here for the drinks and vibes. Cozy and dark inside - love this place in the “
“amazing ice cream!! i tried the banana cream pie, which was delicious, but ultimately purchased chocolate and salted caramel. maple flavor was out of stock and i’m so sad i wasn’t able to try it. not sure if i’ll ever end up in woodstock again but if i do this would be my first stop.“
“I recently visited this café and had a pleasant experience. The ambiance is unique and nostalgic, with a collection of 80s and 90s metal tricycles, a cozy campfire setup, and vibrant colors throughout the space. It's a bit pricey, possibly due to its location in a tourist area, but the atmosphere makes up for it. The beverages were decent, nothing extraordinary but enjoyable. Overall, it's a great spot to relax on a winter afternoon.“
“Laid back atmosphere with good music and a good selection of brews. I went on $5 draft Monday and that is a great value. Got the Kaaterskill IPA and the red IPA (can't remember the name), sampled the Juniper Ridge and ended up leaving with a 4 pack of it. Many restaurants within walking distance as well so you don't have to go far to get a good meal after your visit“
“Stopped in here on a Wednesday around 12:30PM when I was just passing by the city. There was only one other couple in the restaurant eating when I got inside. It seems like they have a lot of interesting options but I just went for a double scoop protein bowl of tuna. It was kind of expensive for what you got out of it but it tasted fresh and the pineapple miso sauce was really good! The workers were extremely nice and it was overall a good experience!“
“Good great experience at the original Mickey igloo. I always take my dog there after I bathe him in Port Ewen. I get a medium vanilla cone and I give him about a half a cup. That's his treat for being such a good dog while he was getting his It's so delicious I love soft, serve ice cream it's one of my favorite things in the whole world.“
“Ummm, wow... I LOVE hidden gem restaurants, and this place is a hidden gem. Unassuming from the outside, the dining room opens into a large room with quaintly matched tables and chairs, brightly-colored vases, and rustic art on the walls. It feels like home... and the way Donna and Joe treated us was just like family. The lunch was incredible. The aptly-named 'crack sauce' delivered, a warm and spicy compliment to perfectly fried chicken. The apple slaw cooled things down just right. This will be our spot every time works brings us back to Kingston. Cheers!Kid-friendliness: The space and the staff are both conducive to children and animals.“
“Great little spot in Kingston with delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. The space is small and seating can be tight but you can order ahead. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious. We had the country wrap and southwestern wrap. Both were flavorful and filling. I recommend this spot for a quick bite and delicious meal!“
“Been getting sushi from Yasuda for years. Excellent in all regards. Quality, taste and service 10/10. We are fortunate enough to have great sushi in Kingston and this is one of the best spots to get it. I recommend getting the seaweed salad with every order. Staff are very sweet and always seem to be having fun.Dietary restrictions: Gf, V friendly“
“Was only there for a couple draughts as we hit them just before closing time. This is a rustic place with live music, bar games, darts, etc. But you go here for the beer. Keegan ales makes some great beer and the Mothers Milk is a favorite for years. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Outdoor seating when weather permits“
“Truly a perfect location, friendly staff, nice rooms, unique proposition where the hotel has multiple locations/buildings throughout town. The hotel bar had some really unique and fun cocktails, including a fun sidecar-esque martini and a tequila based creamy coffee cocktail. The continental breakfast is great, easy but good quality, with attentive staff.Rooms are nice and uniquely appointed, and clean!Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kingston. We brought a dog and it was pooch-approved also!Walkability: Definitely hugely walkable to get around town, and even can walk to a small strip mall that’s a quarter mile awayFood & drinks: Continental breakfast in the morning. The hotel’s restaurant is great, and contends with any top option in the area.Bar is small but lovely with unique cocktails.“
“Major Disappointment! I can't trust anyone when it comes to a Review. The Philly cheese steak was not even close. Wrong Bread. Wrong cheese. Wrong cut of meat. Closer to An Italian Hot Beef. But that's still a stretch. It was fresh and hot. I will return for other items on the menu.“
“My sister and I just had the most fantastic lunch here!! I ordered the cobb salad and it did not disappoint!! Our waitress lucy was fantastic and so helpful!! Her recommendations were spot on and we hope to have her again!! Thanks ole savannah for a great lunch experience- we will be back!!!“
“Was super excited to find an all-vegan restaurant, especially in this region! Everything on the menu sounded great but decided on lentil loaf with mashed potatoes and gravy plus peppercorn crusted tofu with polenta and green beans. Both entrees also came with sautéed kale. Additionally got tiramisu for dessert! Overall wasn't blown away and a little pricey in my opinion but wholeheartedly support this fully vegan establishment. Most items are also gluten-free and are clearly labeled.“
