“BEST meal I have ever had in my entire life and I try new restaurants in nyc all the time.

Everything we ordered was absolutely mouthwatering. We got:
-the Wood fired pita- that whipped butter was heavenly
-prosciutto & fig- the combination of all these ingredients and flavors made for the perfect bite
-Lamb chop- simply stunning
-mushroom pasta- the umami flavor was unreal. You need to get this!

“It's a perfect hideaway from the world nestled at the top of the hill in Woodstock. An intimate setting with an entire upstairs that boasts retro arcade games. Though that's not only reason for going.

The cocktail program boasts several spins on classics that are thoughtfully put together & a selection of classics that every bartender should know & execute flawlessly. Mark, the owner has taken pride in his work & it shows with the layout of the bar to the curated selection of premium spirits from smaller producers.

We tried for years & couldn't find a single venue in Woodstock, let alone most of Ulster County that knew how to make a Vieux Carre, a Sazerac, an Improved Whiskey Cocktail, or even a Naked Famous & few if any can or do.

The bar has been here about a year & deserves so much more love & attention from the community. If you haven't been, you're missing out.”

“We had dinner the other evening. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress Ella was lovely. The food was great tasting and the plating was wonderful. The yuzu tart was a very good ending to our dinner.”

“Mountain Gate has the best Indian food in the Hudson Valley by far, probably even the entire state. Absolutely love coming here! The chicken vindaloo is always my go-to dish, and my husband loves the shrimp curry. Food is always fresh and just spicy enough. Beautiful decor and super friendly waitstaff. I would definitely recommend Mountain Gate to anyone looking to soothe their Indian food craving.”

“I am a vegan. During my visit to Woodstock, I had to call all the places to check if they have vegan options. The most I can mostly find is an Avo toast. Found Garden Cafe and I was so excited to see that they are 100% Plant Based.
Everything we ordered was so delicious and the staff were so friendly. I just had one meal there but would like to try all the food options there if I am back in Woodstock in future. Much Love!!”

“It’s a magical place! Our group performed on Friday evening. it was our first time being there andwe got to meet and hang out with just wonderful cast of people. “A must stop if you’re ever in Woodstock. Cucina is an absolutely beautiful restaurant set in an old farm house. The gorgeous front porch is the place to dine on a warm night. The service was outstanding. Our food was equally excellent with an emphasis on the meatball appetizer which was simply some of the best meatballs I’ve ever tasted. The chicken parmigiana is a big plate of food but absolutely delicious. The linguine vongole was perfectly prepared as well. Their cocktails were fine but nothing to write about. The wine list is small but has some nice selections and our server was a bounty of knowledge about the lists. Without question one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in a long time.”

“I love this place! Every time I go I find some thing new that becomes my favorite. The egg sandwiches are beyond delicious, I used to get bacon egg and cheese but I’m trying not to eat so much meat so today I got it with avocado mayonnaise and hot sauce and it was ridiculously good. The jerk chicken mango empanada was insane, Hope they make that a regular item.Best BLT ever, Get it with avocado! They now have this incredible stuff to go, the vegetable shepherds pie is a perfect double sider for an easy delicious dinner and the pastries are incredible. I even like their coffee and I don’t usually like anybody’s coffee except Oriole 9. Thank you Nana’s so happy you are back❤️”

“Just had takeout from Santa Fe Woodstock. Started out with Chips and Salsa, then Sweet Potato Tacos and Pulled Pork Tacos and finished with Key Lime Pie. Everything was delicious. Met Luke at the front and as soon as he seen my Saugerties Animal Shelter jacket he offered a donation night to support us.”

“Fantastic! If you are in Woodstock and like refined service, dishes that taste amazing, and a beautiful relaxing atmosphere, this is the place. We had the paté, the scallops ceviche, and the whole fried fish. All so tasteful, asian touch, tangy flavors, cooked right. Cocktails and mock-tails are amazing too. Best of all, food quantities were real, filling you in, and all priced well for what I thought was great value for the quality, space and good service. Loved it!”

“We took a wrong turn and found this little gem in the woods that has the most amazing pumpkin pies I have ever tasted! It's so fluffy and melts in your mouth with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, a sweet strawberry in the middle and not too sugary jusssst right! He says he has more of a variety but since we came late that's all that was left!! I ain't never ate a pumpkin pie in one sitting.”

“A colleague and I had lunch at the Woodstock Pub recently on a social outing and it was terrific! The food was amazing and the service was spectacular! The Rumosa was incredible too - I would highly recommend! I had the Spanakopita and the Eggplant Rollatini - my colleague had the steamers and the lamb burger. All amazing, and huge portions!”
