Food was excellent and service was great! The only thing I had a problem with was how cold it is in there. I've only dined here twice but both times it was freezing! I don't want to eat my dinner while wearing my big puffy jacket.
Good italian food in a nice, cozy atmosphere. We had a party of 6 but they could take us on short notice. The place wasn't very full. We sat by the fireplace (which set off the smoke alarm and brought in the local FD) and it was all very cozy. The sevice was very slow, however, especially for a place that wasn't very full. 20 minutes to get our drinks (we ordered and got appetizers before they arrived) and were never asked if we wanted another. I’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed. The management is friendly and attentive, mostly good service from the waitstaff, comfortable bar area and a charming porch. Inside can get a little noisy if there’s a large party but the fabulous food makes up for it. My personal favorites are the sublime pesto ravioli, the baked olives with a chunk of cheese and thick balsamic dip, the salmon which is always perfectly done, and the steak.
