“We had a special couples meal tonight at Silvia . The hostess greeted us with a smile and showed us to a corner table ; perfect for a one on one chat . Our server Ally was knowledgeable and very personable ..on her recommendation we started with a house-made ginger rosemary non alcoholic drink ..wow ! Then we had oysters and the prosciutto and figs ..both were excellent ..our mains were the mushroom and asparagus over pasta and the smoked pork chop on polenta ..OUTSTANDING . Ally was attentive without being intrusive .. The manager stopped by to thank us for coming in . All the staff seem happy and effective ..great space , lovely vibe . we drove 75 min for the meal and it was well worth it ., HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“Great place to eat. Went to the Bearsville Theater for a show, and planned to eat at Tibet Pho before hand. Figured the restaurant was conveniently located right next door, but the food also happened to be fantastic. Would happily eat there again even if I wasn't going to a show at the theater. The wait staff we had were lovely, and the food came out quick.”

“I've drank a lot of really good DIPAs, IPAs from Tree House, Fidens, Alchemist, Foam, etc. Decided to stop on way home from Belleayre gave the I Dream in Blue DIPA a try. It competes with Tree House "Super Treat" nice up front candied taste and a mellow back end not a bitter/hoppy feel at all.”

“Love love Garden Cafe! The food is amazing, service is always great (quick and very friendly), and setting is cozy and convenient (right in the heart of Woodstock). “Mountain Gate has the best Indian food in the Hudson Valley by far, probably even the entire state. Absolutely love coming here! The chicken vindaloo is always my go-to dish, and my husband loves the shrimp curry. Food is always fresh and just spicy enough. Beautiful decor and super friendly waitstaff. I would definitely recommend Mountain Gate to anyone looking to soothe their Indian food craving.”

“Another great visit to Sharkie’s in Woodstock! We always make it a point to eat here, and it somehow keeps getting better. Stopped in for meatballs and wine while waiting for takeout, loved it so much we stayed an extra day just to come back for meatball subs. Mark is such a warm, genuine owner, and Sharkie’s is truly a safe, welcoming place for all. Bonus: we grabbed frozen meatballs as Christmas gifts and love that they can be delivered now. “Great food, great staff, atmosphere is tolerable unless you to in and there are a lot of screaming kids there, but that is my own hangup. I have never had a bad meal here and the owners (yes there are multiple) are smart , savvy, and very generous with donations to the community, besides serving as volunteer firefighters. I wish more people were more community minded.”

“We had a great night Saturday for dinner and jazz here. The service was impeccable and the owner and his wife were nothing but accommodating and kind. We chatted for a while with them while we enjoyed the music and our delicious meal. Excellent jazz band that night. We loved it!”

“Ate at Good night for the first time and would highly recommend it if you like Asian inspired foods. We had Shan Tofu, the Mussels, pasta and Trout. The stars were the tofu and mussels. It’s not easy to say great things about appetizers like tofu and mussels, but let me say the follow. The tofu was made with garbanzo beans instead of soybeans. This makes a huge difference in taste and texture. The mussels were cooked in a yellow curry sauce. If you like a curry that’s got a great taste and isn’t too expensive, this is your dish. Want to try something wonderful? Did the tofu into the mussels curry. Yum!”
