Funny, the first thing I thought of before writing this was how nervous I was about getting back to our hotel in Athens b/c I had NO service/no GPS in this woodsy enclave. But it all turned out OK once we started driving away from one of the best nights we'd had in a long time. First of all: take the "no reservations" policy seriously. Have already reviewed The Pines in the past, but just wanted to check-in because this is our all time favorite place for dinner in the Boiceville area. Basically ordered the same things again. I got a NY strip, tomato soup, ceaser salad, and french fries.

This is a true gem in the Hudson Valley. Not to be missed! Everything is decisions, and fresh and clearly prepared with food and love. The staff are delightful and thoughtful. The clientele are all people you’d want to hang out with!
