Burger Restaurants near Mount Tremper

“Funny, the first thing I thought of before writing this was how nervous I was about getting back to our hotel in Athens b/c I had NO service/no GPS in this woodsy enclave. But it all turned out OK once we started driving away from one of the best nights we'd had in a long time. First of all: take the "no reservations" policy seriously. Get there early if it's suitable for you. It also means that once you grab a table, it's not yours for the night. Fair enough and true to hospitable form the staff will find a spot for you & take care of you (we ended up sharing a table with a super nice local couple, and we had so much to talk about before & after the music). We went there to see Don Byron (!!!) with an exceptional band. 5 feet in front of me and no phones, just people listening & absorbing, not phone filming. A nice change from the stadium concerts of the summer. Burger was excellent; yes, the waiter was correct in suggesting the double. Fries could have been more crunchy but that's a minor quibble. Good drinks & beer selection. Super charming spot, wonder what it's like in the Lodge? may have to come back to find out.“

“Brio’s is a classic, can’t go wrong! Pizza is amazing — the sesame seed crust is just perfection. 10/10 on the pizza front. They have a lot of solid choices on the menu. The ambiance might not be all that, but the food is just good! High quality ingredients & they make their own bread and desserts. If you’re in Phoenicia you’ve got to try it. I love their hot Italian grinder, the wings are good, I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever had something I didn’t like! The desserts are a must try as well!“
