I've worked in Woodstock for 20+ years. The Garden Cafe is always on my short list of places I like to eat. I recommend it often. I am far from vegan or vegetarian. The quality, consistency, and creativity are just top-notch. I have cut back on dining out the last few years. I visited the Garden Cafe last week and was so happy to see that prices were still modest. This local truly appreciates a great place to eat without being punished in the wallet like I'm a tourist on vacation.
First time here. Cute town with lots of shops. Found parking on the streets, but I can imagine that when it's primetime season it would be difficult to find parking. Was super excited to find an all-vegan restaurant, especially in this region! Everything on the menu sounded great but decided on lentil loaf with mashed potatoes and gravy plus peppercorn crusted tofu with polenta and green beans. Both entrees also came with sautéed kale.
