Was super excited to find an all-vegan restaurant, especially in this region! Everything on the menu sounded great but decided on lentil loaf with mashed potatoes and gravy plus peppercorn crusted tofu with polenta and green beans. Both entrees also came with sautéed kale. Additionally got tiramisu for dessert! Overall wasn't blown away and a little pricey in my opinion but wholeheartedly support this fully vegan establishment. Most items are also gluten-free and are clearly labeled.

I've worked in Woodstock for 20+ years. The Garden Cafe is always on my short list of places I like to eat. I recommend it often. I am far from vegan or vegetarian. The quality, consistency, and creativity are just top-notch. I have cut back on dining out the last few years. I visited the Garden Cafe last week and was so happy to see that prices were still modest. This local truly appreciates a great place to eat without being punished in the wallet like I'm a tourist on vacation.

First time here. Cute town with lots of shops. Found parking on the streets, but I can imagine that when it's primetime season it would be difficult to find parking. This location had several seating options if you wanted to in and of course you could always pick up to dine out. It was a Wednesday afternoon and it was packed. Very friendly service. Extensive menu.one option more delicious than the other. Nice size dessert menu. Ice cream and smoothies also available.
I started with the chickpeas tomato soup, which also comes with a piece of focaccia bread. Tasting and a good size for a cup. Moved onto their Portobello Panini. Flavorful and a good serving size. Also comes with a side salad. Had their carrot cake, which was in my opinion delicious. I had a difficult time choosing things because everything looked so good especially looking around the restaurant and seeing what everyone was eating. Very much looking forward to coming back here again. The one thing that I will say that was a little bit of a negative is that in my opinion it's a little bit on the pricey side, but that is subjective. For my pockets, it was a little on the pricey side..

I've dined here a few times on my travels to the Catskills, and it's always a huge hit! This cafe is always busy! The staff are SO kind and helpful. Their smoothies and fresh pressed juices are delicious. The menu has a wide variety of vegan meals, you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu! My wife, son and myself were visiting for the first time to Woodstock NY. We found this cafe/ vegetarian restaurant, soo beautiful and welcoming. the food was delicious and the attendants were all fantastic. One more thing the people of this town Woodstock are all beautiful and kind. Stay as you are , 99% perfect human beings.

I will never forget the Primavera pasta and the garlic bread along with it. The best garlic bread I have eaten!The fruit juices are fresh.Their location is excellent.The staff is very polite and extremely warm.They allow pets indoors and are super pet friendly.

Really tasty and thoughtfully balanced vegan food. I highly recommend the TLT and the blinis, but there were at least a dozen menu items that looked and sounded wonderful. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in town, and id highly recommend the Garden Cafe to anyone visiting the Catskills area.

This is not my first visit, but I'm just as impressed this time. The staff and owner are very friendly. The food is amazing. This time I ordered carrot cake with pecan praline and coconut filling, and also chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Both were delicious.
