“Great spot with a relaxed pub vibe. Attentive bartender. We're so happy food is being served again and it's delicious! Burger, falafel, wings were all very good. Live acoustic Celtic music every Monday night. You'll be happy here:)“
“We came for a Valentine's evening out on the 15th, much calmer than the 14th! The grilled oyster, scallop, squid, and crispy rice appetizer was tasty. We shared the 5 spice Duck Breast, with cucumber, pear, hoisin sauce and Asian pancake, (the combination of flavors in this dish was outstanding) and Vietnamese grilled Lamb with pickled daikon and carrots. The lamb was cooked perfectly but the pickled veg was jarring against the Thai seasoning of the lamb. Might just get Duck x2 next time :). It was a suddenly snowy evening so we passed on the libations for safety reasons. Overall a wonderful celebration in a beautiful space!Dietary restrictions: The server proactively asked if we had any restrictions or allergies!“
“We had a fantastic dinner there on a Friday night. We will definitely be going back and will be taking our friends when they come to visit! There are many options for dinner in the village of Woodstock and now The Millstream is one of the best!“
“I would move here just to have this place be my neighborhood bar. Every walk of life is here and the vibe is immaculate. Great beers on tap and a straight forward snack menu. The bartender was quick and brought everything out to us which I did not expect. Hit this place“
“Awesome spot with good cocktails - super vibey and great music. I love how the space is built into the trees which feels very organic and Woodstock-y. Food has gotten better, but mostly come here for the drinks and vibes. Cozy and dark inside - love this place in the “
“We're hanging out at the dive bar down the road and the bartender there recommended we come here for some good drinks. And my oh my were they good. I never believed in the science of mixology or that a mixologist was a skilled tradesmen. But the old man who made our drinks must have been the Gordon Ramsey of Bartending. Your average bartender is a frycook by comparison. I had a few of their signature cocktails as well as a Manhatten and an old fashioned; my go-to drink so I've had a lot of them from a lot of different places, and never in my decades of life have I tasted such a perfectly mixed old fashioned. It was sublime and I doubt I'll taste its equal again in this lifetime unless I find myself in Kingston again and this man happens to be behind the bar once more. He also whipped up some scratch-made eggnog with alcohol and it was exquisite.“
“Valentine's Day was our first time eating here. We were blown away. The upstairs dining room was the perfect atmosphere for the night. Service was stellar. The drink specials were awesome. We had the calamari to start and then the braised short ribs for me and the ravioli for my girlfriend. We capped it off with after dinner drinks and desserts. We had a great time and it was well worth the price! We will be back!“
“Best bookstore in Kingston! I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love their hot chocolate. I order the same thing every time I stop by ( Small hot chocolate and a cookie) .This place is super cozy with an awesome selection of books. If you can find a seat on a less busy day your in luck! It's a chill place to meet up with friends or get some work done. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If your new to Kingston definitely check it out it's one of a kind.“
“This place has a classic American tavern feel. There is bar seating and table seating. There are a couple of sections (a big back section which is where our group of 11 was seated). Food was delicious and they had a couple of options - bar snacks, appetizers, salads/soup, mains. The price of main entrees run from $20-$30. Service was also great.“
“Great service, nice environment. Couple different seating areas. Food and drinks are amazing.Parking: Parking depends on time of day you go. During day it's paid street parking. Evening time parking is free street and the use of county parking lot located directly across street.Kid-friendliness: Yes very kid friendly environment“
“First time there to see Evan Honer last night, beautiful little venue! The show was sold out so it was crowded, but we had plenty of room to dance and move around and you can get a great view of the stage from the balcony. Sound was good for a small place too. We had a chance encounter with the owner outside, nice guy who asked us what we thought of the place and seemed genuinely interested in our opinions, he was friendly. There’s a big beer garden/patio are out back that wasn’t open since it’s February, but we definitely plan on going back to check it out when it gets warmer. We didn’t try the food, but it looked and smelled great. Definitely give them a visit if you’re in the area!“
