“From the moment we walked through the door, we were warmly greeted by the host and promptly seated. Our server, Hannah, struck the perfect balance between being warm and personable while remaining polished and professional. She had an impressive knowledge of the menu and provided the kind of service we should all be so lucky to experience. During our meal she mentioned what a wonderful team they have and how much she enjoys working there—and honestly, it showed. Everyone we encountered seemed genuinely happy to be there, and it created such a welcoming atmosphere.

We enjoyed both a cocktail and a mocktail, each beautifully crafted and presented. From the appetizers to dessert, every dish was thoughtfully composed. The combination of flavors, textures, and temperatures made each course feel intentional and beautifully executed.

After ordering dessert, I stepped outside for a cigarette. One of the staff members came out to let us know that our ice cream had just been scooped and our desserts were being plated so we could return before it melted. It was such a small gesture, but one that perfectly reflected the level of hospitality we experienced throughout the evening.

Every aspect of our visit left us wanting to tell our friends that Eliza is the new spot. Thank you to Hannah and the entire team for such a memorable evening—we can’t wait to come back.“

One of the few wine bars open on a Sunday night in Kingston, New York, and the place was still buzzing. Authentic Spanish tapas delightfully presented, and the attention to detail from start to finish was superb.

Owner Nick has really created something very authentic and special here.

He is passionate about Spanish wines and even more so when it comes to sherries. An incredible wine and sherry list.

“Nice spot! The atmosphere is super welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t drink alcohol but hubby thought their craft beers are top-notch, with Hurricane Kitty and Mother's Milk being my favorites. They also have live music events that make the place even more fun. “This was hands down some of the best food I've had in years. Not to judge, but most of the Mexican places around here are not very good. This however was exceptionally delicious. The chicken mole sauce was unbelievable. Fajitas were outstanding, the margaritas were excellent, the chips and salsa was ridiculously good. Service was impeccable. It has the same welcoming atmosphere as its previous location, but this is so much better! Food and service are great, and they have been very busy since opening a few weeks ago. “I’ve struggled with finding really delicious wings in the area. It seems like Buffalo was the only place to go-until now. I was recommended to this place and I’m very happy with the quality of the wings. I had Thai and extra hot wings. The only thing is that the extra hot wasn’t hot at all to me. But that’s just me and that certainly doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and the excellent service. Next time I’ll just specify exactly how hot I want the wings. I highly recommend Hickory to anyone who is looking for delicious smoked food.“
