From day 1, Paul and Jenny and their rotating crew of amazing bartenders and bar backs (you guys! 🙏🙏) made it cool to visit Uptown. Keep rocking it for another 16 please!!“

“Usually offers good bread. But is very wishy washy on their "old bread sales" prices. If it's a day old it should be discounted - period. (I have worked for almost four years in a bakery) This is being aggregated by the fact that I was not notified of this pricing structure when I asked for day old bread (with the specific intend to get a discount for something that is not fresh and won't last me as long). Had I been informed about this, I would have just bought the same bread *fresh* - for the *same price*. I feel that the omission of this fact is even done purposely to mislead customers.“
“Nice spot and was perfect for me and some friends to sit at the bar and catch up on life. We had just had a bad experience somewhere else and came in here for a drink to unwind and it was a good decision.
They were on top of making sure we had drinks when we were ready. The entire place gave you a nice feel and the guy working the bar was very friendly.
I’ll for sure go back when I visit again.“

“INSANELY good fresh farm-to-table faire! Lobster salad, incredible! The lobster was SO fresh I thought I was in Down East Maine… INCREDIBLE… Shrimp cocktail, incredible! Again, shrimp was SO fresh. The downside to this fine establishment is it can be difficult to get a table… Think Eventide (Portland, ME)or Neptune Oysters (Boston, MA) in regards to obtaining a table for two… WELL worth it though!“

“Impressive!! We have been wanting to try this place for quite awhile and came away fat and sassy. Cod special, outstanding. Milanese, just like in Argentina (their chimichurri is quite good). Vegetables cooked to perfection.
All in all a great meal.“

“We had dinner the other evening. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress Ella was lovely. The food was great tasting and the plating was wonderful. The yuzu tart was a very good ending to our dinner.“

Owners are hospitable, down to earth, and generous, artistic director is knowledgeable, professional, and helpful, bartenders and servers are all very friendly and timely in their service. Top notch quality food and drink, as well as sound equipment and performance stage.“
