“We travel from several towns away to eat here, it is that good! I very much appreciate being welcomed like old friends whenever we dine here, as well as the professional and friendly staff, delicious food, and my personal favorite, the chocolate martini! Freshly baked bread for the table, exquisite salads and appetizers followed by an array of entrees such as chicken fratelli (my favorite) or several seafood and pasta dishes. While there is usually a crowd, the acoustics are such that you can have a pleasant conversation at your table. There is a lovely seating area with floor to ceiling windows which feels like you are almost eating outdoors, as well as outdoor seating in season.“

“When you travel, you seek to find outstanding restaurants. Sometimes you win, other times, you don't. The Hudson House is a great find, a winner at every turn! From our initial greeting by the owner, Matt, to the great staff who didn't miss a beat, to the most critical part, the food, there wasn't a moment of regret. We started with a couple of tables shares. We had cheese plate with 3 cheeses, homemade fig jam to die for, fresh thinly sliced honeycrisp apples, delicious grapes, and an oil-infused crustini. Perfect start, followed by the burrata and pumpkin seed salad with carmelized pears and sweet potato chunks. I didn't think it could get better after this. I tried the sweet potato and fennel soup, very warm and hearty on a cold night, and the taste was just as I hoped! A beet and farro salad with radishes hit the mark! My partner had a fresh halibut that was cooked to perfection, served on ramen noodles and baby bok choy, with an array of fresh mushrooms, with a gentle but flavorful broth, but not enough to be called soup. To me, one of the best fish dishes I've tasted in a long time. Our guests, the wedding couple, ordered duck breast confit, and hanger steak. The duck, one of her favorites, was tender, most, cooked properly and seasoned well. It was a hit with her and her mother. The hanger steak was the choice of the groom, a very picky eater. He couldn't stop reaching about how amazing it was! Sadly, we were so full, we couldn't eat dessert. All the desserts are homemade by the owner, and they sounded unbelievable. But I'll have to return another time to speak to them. Finally, ask to sit in the jail cell. The pictures tell only some of the story. It's a wine cellar, a hidden romantic getaway, a reprise of days long gone. Or have a seat at the bar with the locals. Or just come and see the beautiful tin ceiling and walls. No matter what you do here, you won't be disappointed.“

Naomi is an excellent instructor and Mr. T has fantastic recommendations for drinks. The bar is fully stocked with a variety of choices. The music was pleasant and the atmosphere was soothing. “The ambiance of Raconteur was just perfect. For that brief 1.5hr dinner, I was transported to a cozy, warm and inviting place. The service was excellent (I even shared our server that her aura was glowing). Since we were doing vegetarian that night, we had the spicy shrooms (flavorful, but a little too chewy for me). Then we tried 2 other entrees that I cant remember the names but the taste was unforgettable, one had had honey on it and the other arugula- the bread, folks will make you rethink Keto- reminds me of home made bread. There were fish & meat entrees as well. Go for the vibe, and be transported and renewed. So glad I found this little gem.“
“Terrific newcomer to Pleasantville, and really great to have Cajun / Creole food in the upper Westchester area. Just had one meal there so far but we ordered three different entrées two of which were terrific and the third was good, but nothing amazing. I got the seafood gumbo, which was really delicious . Very generous portions too. We also ordered an appetizer which was delicious, but I'm having trouble remembering what we got. I'm definitely planning to go back a couple more times and will update the review then with more specifics. Very nice and helpful wait staff.“
“The service is on point and the food is excellent. Unless you are riding a motorcycle, parking is almost non existent. That said, I rated it a four for atmosphere because it is a biker bar with a restaurant and that is honestly not my thing. If you are a bike fan, you would likely rate this place a five.Parking: Motorcycles have a reserved parking area, cars are on their own to find street side parking.“

A friend ordered the poutine, it wasn’t something that I would ever order, but MAN DID I EAT THE HECK OUT OF IT… i know the chef is known for his take on meats, but the curry cauliflower is so tasty… and I went back for the jerk chicken bao and actually the beet salad was delicious! “Wonderful experience yesterday. We were a party of more than 20 people, some in their 80s and 90s. The waitstaff was extremely patient and kind. The service was excellent. The food was great too! I had the shrimp fried rice YUM. Everyone loved their meals. They are right by The Jacob Burns Theater. I recommend Pubstreet without question.“
“Stopped here for dinner tonight with 3 kids under 5. The servers were super kind and attentive. The food and drinks were at our table at a reasonable time and everything was delicious. “No reservation dinner for 4, seemed like a quiet night, parking readily available, wonderful fish tank with fish and coral at the entrance. Seated right away, seats were unexpectedly hard. Staff were friendly, and ordered drinks and appetizers within the first few minutes. We ordered the edamame, and gyoza. Gyoza were good, pork and good sauce to go with. Edamame... keep reading. For drinks we had some Tsing Tao, light Chinese beer and the Plum Wine. Plum wine was sweet and smooth, just enough to make you forget its alcohol. My edamame did not come out at all before the other appetizers, drinks and the mains already arrived, so I had to cancel it so that they would not charge me. For the mains we had the Aburi Salmon Roll, mix of spicy roll combo, some California rolls, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Sashimi Deluxe, Grilled Shrimp Salad, and the Thai Yellow Coconut Curry. Rolls were all made well, tasty, I would order from here for my lunch time rolls. The Shrimp Tempura had a nice crunchy so you know it was just recently made and was not sitting. the sear on the Aburi Salmon was just right with a touch of a light mayo spicy sauce. Thai Coconut curry was "not too great" by my friends standards but still enjoyable. Sashimi deluxe, items were fresh, slightly chilled and came in a giant bowl in a bed of ice. It was the right temperature and would not have wanted my sashimi any other way. Too much food to have dessert, but will try to cut done on entrees to try dessert next time. Would recommend and was my first time there, would have like some edamame with my beer but will definitely stop by again.“

“We had my sister’s rehearsal dinner at Hudson Anchor and it was lovely. Such a cute space, affordable, and not to mention delicious. Everyone was stuffed! Gary was extremely accommodating and responsive to assist with planning the event at his restaurant. My family and friends had a lovely time and I would absolutely love to go back once it gets a little warmer out and have drinks/dinner on the rooftop deck!“

“This place was amazingly fun. The only negative was the wait. We had 6pm Reservations, but did not get seated till an hour later. Due to prior guest arriving late. They made up for it with two rounds of free drinks, and a few free apps. Once we got seated, the chefs were super fun and the food was good. Will definitely be back.“
