Mirador is a highly recommended Andalucían tapas restaurant located on Broadway, contributing to the vibrant Kingston food scene. The menu is not only impressive but also changes regularly, offering new dishes with each visit. The kitchen and prep area are openly visible from the bar, providing a view of the chefs at work. Mirador specializes in sherry and Spanish wines, complemented by a stacked menu of cocktails and vermouths. Service at the bar is consistently attentive and knowledgeable. Many visitors enjoy the great atmosphere and the chance to sip on vermouth while snacking or having dinner. The smaller plates allow for diverse tastings and exploration of various parts of the menu. Standout dishes include tortilla, Serrano ham, rabbit, patatas bravas, and the matrimonio toast, which is often praised as a favorite bite of the year. Guests appreciate the inventive and delicious food, as well as the excellent service and bartenders. While some find the tapas portions small, the overall experience makes Mirador a popular spot, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. It is advisable to arrive 30 minutes before dinner service, enjoy a glass of sherry at the bar, and start dining once the kitchen opens. Many visitors consider it worth the trip and plan to return numerous times.
