“Even though due to our own personal circumstances we do not get out for dinner; We are familiar with the restaurant and saw the endearing article the local Kingston Freeman had on Reginato's Ristorante. How could one not want to try it if they haven't or keep it as their go to place to relax with a dinner that's been tried and true for all the years this family has stayed in the area. Congrats to the family.”
“I've been coming to Dallas Hot Wiener for 20 years, and it never disappoints. It's worth the 30-mile drive there to get some of the best hot dogs in the area. A nice family owned business that prides itself on quality. The restaurants are always clean and the staff is always the friendliest. I love the atmosphere of an old style diner type as well. The Dallas Hot is my ultimate favorite. A hot dog with special sauce and onions on a steamed bun. Another have to get every time for me is cheese fries which you can also put Dallas hot sauce on. The chicken tenders are perfectly cooked and huge. Also, be sure to try their milkshakes. I love that there's 3 locations in Kingston to visit, so no matter what side of Kingston you're on, there's always one close by.”
“This was my first time in the new location, and I absolutely loved the space! So open, the lead barrista was so friendly to me and helped me find a special blonde whole bean coffee that they don't normally carry, and it's absolutely delicious! I can't for the warmer weather so I can hang outside on the patio! Absolutely love what they did with the space!”
“Love it. But! The Kingston/Lake Katrine location is closing to the public next week. ☹️ It will be for production and staff only. Wouldn’t mind working there! ? I just love the cafe here, big, open space, delicious baked goods. I really think this big cafe idea is a good one, but I understand it might not be the priority as production and staff is important, of course.”
“I love this place...my wife and I enjoy going for a little date night every now and again and these guys have yet to disappoint. Calamari is always fried to near perfection and tableside is an absolute must. Our only "negative" criticism is that the acoustics are horrible and if it's busy you end up yelling across the table at each other. We just end up sitting together side by side in the booth, it's cozier that way anyway.Parking: Parking is plentiful just a little tight sometimesKid-friendliness: Absolutely kid and full family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: They are wheelchair accessible”
“As far as Food goes it depends on what you order ,they have a sub special that has several meats and cheese that my sons love. Pizza is good, I like a little thinner crust.Price is about average .They have a few good lunch deals.Overall ok experienceParking: Be careful pulling out of the lot”
“Go here fairly regularly. Mango Kale is my favorite. Tried some others, but keep going back.Sometimes it tastes better than others depending on who makes it. Tonight was a great one!!!Sometimes it can taste more watered down. Friendly service. Never had issues. Can be a slow line at times. Also a bit on the pricey side, but understandable considering it has more expensive ingredients and is still a better value, healthier, and more filling than Starbucks which is next door.”
“The food and service are the best in Woodstock - tasty locally sourced food, great service, and an excellent atmosphere. The bar is also great - with top-quality drinks and friendly bartenders. Can't think of anything that could be improved. 100% recommend.”
“This is by far the best Italian restaurant for a special occasion in Greene County. We enjoyed the ambiance and everything we ordered. A group of 6 celebrating a birthday.”
“We're hanging out at the dive bar down the road and the bartender there recommended we come here for some good drinks. And my oh my were they good. I never believed in the science of mixology or that a mixologist was a skilled tradesmen. But the old man who made our drinks must have been the Gordon Ramsey of Bartending. Your average bartender is a frycook by comparison. I had a few of their signature cocktails as well as a Manhatten and an old fashioned; my go-to drink so I've had a lot of them from a lot of different places, and never in my decades of life have I tasted such a perfectly mixed old fashioned. It was sublime and I doubt I'll taste its equal again in this lifetime unless I find myself in Kingston again and this man happens to be behind the bar once more. He also whipped up some scratch-made eggnog with alcohol and it was exquisite.”
“This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Japanese & sushi classics and some twists, and for their prices it's 100% worth it.”
“Sonder is a hidden gem right on a major street! I cannot believe I hadn’t been here but I’m glad I was able to convince the family to head to a new spot. The meat - chicken, steak and pork belly - were all cooked to absolute perfection and I was VERY impressed particularly by the steak. Loved the Mac n cheese gnocchi and the unique flavors on the ginger risotto. Fun vibes - very hip for the area and who doesn’t love a wine bar with disco balls and a backyard? I would absolutely recommend this spot! Thank you so much and keep up the great work!”
“Was super excited to find an all-vegan restaurant, especially in this region! Everything on the menu sounded great but decided on lentil loaf with mashed potatoes and gravy plus peppercorn crusted tofu with polenta and green beans. Both entrees also came with sautéed kale. Additionally got tiramisu for dessert! Overall wasn't blown away and a little pricey in my opinion but wholeheartedly support this fully vegan establishment. Most items are also gluten-free and are clearly labeled.”
“This is my favorite dive in Rhinebeck - all vegetarian and all delicious! This time we came at the busiest hour - lunch rush on Easter weekend, and the line was super long out its door. But the atmosphere behind the counter (where they take your order and assemble the food) remained calm, orderly and efficient. Every customer was greeted with friendly smiles, thoughtful questions and speedy service. I ordered my usual falafel pita, plus the roasted pepper and artichoke soup, while my husband tried their sabeech pita. It's a miracle how much food they skillfully stuff into a pita pouch - I would have torn it or dropped the content - making one's meal a great value. The soup was amazing, and the sandwiches were heavenly! There aren't many such fast yet gourmet eateries in Rhinebeck, and this one is a must try!”
“I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and it was incredible. The food was so delicious (the lobster Mac is a must have!). The server was so nice and attentive and the atmosphere was fun yet quiet. Also MUST top off the meal with the chocolate mousse!!”
“A true hidden gem. From the food to the service you will forget the essence of the atmosphere and remember not to judge a book by it's cover.Parking: Plenty of parking as you follow the parking signs.”
“When in the Rondout treat yourself to fresh made-on-the-spot donuts at this cute cafe. So delicious! The other baked goods are fantastic as well. Super friendly service.”
“This is the best meatball sandwich I’ve ever had! The combination of amazing meatballs and the most delicious marinara sauce. Really great service too- patient and efficient.”
“This was our second visit to Miss Lucy's. We were here in 2021 , too. We had the PLT which was like a BLT but with pork belly. It had a nice sauce on it. We had it with fries. We share the same with a bowl of tomato bisque. It was creamy and tasty. Don't miss it if you like tomato bisque. The homemade lemonade complements it will. We ended with sharing mocha crème d'pot. The creamy top was awesome for both of us. I am not a fan of coffee so I didn't eat the bottom portion of the dessert. The service was good and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.”
“Had the chopped salad with chicken breast, and my friend had the seafood risotto. Both are delicious. Thank you chef. Staff was pleasant and on point. Will visit again when I'm in the area.”
“This place has a classic American tavern feel. There is bar seating and table seating. There are a couple of sections (a big back section which is where our group of 11 was seated). Food was delicious and they had a couple of options - bar snacks, appetizers, salads/soup, mains. The price of main entrees run from $20-$30. Service was also great.”
“Went here last night for drinks and small bites. The vibe is perfect and decor is gorgeous. Our mixologist was perfect and fun to watch , he made us a “don’t go until you get some” and “never fully dressed” which were perfection. We ordered the squash bread as well as shrimp cocktail and both were delicious. The perfect date spot. Don’t pass this place up if you have a chance to go!”
“Went in for the first time and it was so cute. Definitely a place to grab you coffee, juice, food or tea and sit down to chat, work, read a book. I got a smoothie it was good and fast!”
“My family and I dined here last evening. Do yourself a solid and order the duck confit potatoes, if that’s your pleasure. We enjoyed our food, the desserts were delightful—-especially the lemon tarte. The staff was attentive and brought my sister a birthday treat. Cozy ambiance and relaxed pacing.”
“Delicious oven brick pizza. We had the Mediterranean salad and Grana Padano pizza. They were both really tasty. You could taste the good quality of the tomatoes and cheese in the pizza. The crust was thin, crisp and very tasty.”
“Excellent service, best Caribbean in the area. Taking away one star, because there have been a Couple of times where the Oxtail has been really fatty pieces. Maybe some like it that way, but not ideal for me.”
“I didn’t know if my reaction was overblown when I said that this is the best ice cream I’ve ever had, but I brought a few friends at another time and they were freaking out just as much as I was. The labne sour cherry is sublime, and the brown butter pecan was off the charts. My friends’ favorite was the rosemary nut brittle. We all bought pints to go. Truly exceptional!”
“Good music, great people, awesome service, delicious food. From the garlic fries, to the homemade hot sauce on the buffalo wings, to the fantastic service from Angelica. Wonderful visit to the colony”
“Best bookstore in Kingston! I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love their hot chocolate. I order the same thing every time I stop by ( Small hot chocolate and a cookie) .This place is super cozy with an awesome selection of books. If you can find a seat on a less busy day your in luck! It's a chill place to meet up with friends or get some work done. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If your new to Kingston definitely check it out it's one of a kind.”
“This is where I can get the tallest soft ice cream cone I've ever had, an easy 8"'s tall !Parking: Today I pulled in. I was like the third car by the time I left there were 18 vehicles. None of them had any issues.Kid-friendliness: Wide open w/ picnic benches.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open.”
