Went for lunch today and had El Paso tacos and Veggie platter. Great service and HUGE portions. We were making our rounds today picking up donations for Saugerties Animal Shelter. Asked to speak to manager and he came back with 10 donation coupons we can use for our May 4th event. Definitely 5 Star.
Awesome food ( quality and portion size ), super staff providing great service, cozy atmosphere and epic margueritas ! We've had a favorite place to enjoy Mexican food for years, but Casa Vallarta is our new favorite.
The food was absolutely delicious.

Based on the reviews, Mi Rancho Alegre serves top notch Tex Mex style food with ample servings at reasonable prices. The menu includes Enchiladas Rancho served with three enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce, a never ending Chicken Tortilla Soup with steam vegetables chicken broth, rice and abundant of vegetables, a three sauce burrito heavily packed, and a chicharrón appetizer. Drinks like a mojito, delicious margarita, and a very well made mango margarita are always great. Desserts like fried ice cream are also available. The service is attentive, polite, friendly, and on point. The atmosphere is a large cantina type setting, bright, with both booths and tables, and has a TV for watching games. The only negative is the cleaning solution used in the dining area is at times overwhelmingly smelly. The restaurant also offers a breakfast menu and is a great place to host a group.
