I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check.

I put off going here for quite a while. I couldn't imagine they could do anything decent with an old friendlies, and I went there for Sunday breakfast for years with my in-laws. finally decided to check it out. I went in today and was pleasantly surprised how they redecorated it, although the tables were kind of cheesy. right off the bat I was disappointed that there was no calamari. an Italian restaurant without calamari? blasphemy. Had dinner at A Slice of Italy last night with my family. It was so good — everyone loved the food and the service was great. Jackie was our waitress, she was sat six tables at the same time, but you wouldn’t know it, she’s a great waitress with personality! We look forward to returning soon 🙂.
