“Great restaurant for families, food is very hearty and not crazy expensive. Always have a decent experience when coming here. A staple of the area with good live music on rotation and a nice outside area in the summer. The waitress/bartender wasn't the most attentive last time we were there a week ago but we had never had a bad experience with staff prior. Must have been an off day.“

“A truly fantastic local sandwich shop! We placed two large lunch orders for our wedding weekend and could not have been happier with the results. The owner, Lori, is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We selected salads and sandwiches from their online menu and then called in the order a few days in advance. Lori was kind enough to deliver the food to our house and everything was a huge hit. All the ingredients are so fresh. This is a great, healthy, and satisfying option that we highly recommend!“
“Absolutely love coming here. Truly one of our favorite breweries ever - mountain views, friendly staff and patrons, music playing, fire pit, dogs, great beer - you really can't beat it. We almost didn't come here at first because it was out of the way from where we were, but so glad we did - it's 100% worth it to make the trip! The food trucks there are always fantastic too - just check their IG or website to see what time they leave (we missed them one time when we came later in the day, our fault). Added bonus is the brewery's merch is great - we typically don't buy brewery merch but their designs are awesome (and good quality too - have been wearing my orange and black West Kill beanie for years!).“

“Stoped in at Jagerberg for Après-ski brunch - lunch. Opened with a Hofbrau Dunkel which hit the spot. Dark amber and flavorful. I then ordered the Frickadellen which is there take on a German burger of sorts. Ground beef and pork patty with cheese, mustard, horse radish and pickle served on a pretzel roll with a side of German potato salad. It definitely had a German flair and I really liked it. All in all it was an excellent experience. My only knock is that the menu was quite limited and didn't include very many German staples. While working up an appetite skiing I was looking forward to having a brat or two and perhaps a knockwurst. None were on the menu. Perhaps it was just the day I was there? Even so, I had an excellent experience and will definitely drop in again the next time I'm in Hunter. Oh, I sat at the bar and the service was on point. The ambiance is pretty basic. The decor is somewhat German but not over the top.“
“What a hidden gem. Cozy, warm, speakeasy-ish. Staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. Innovative cocktail program and delicious food. Can't wait to come back in the fall and experience the grounds, but even on a rainy night in February, it was the perfect place to cozy up on a worn leather sofa by the wood burning fireplace with a deck of cards.“

“Rating based on dinner only. So far this is the best meal I’ve had on the mountain. We started with the mussels, had a Caesar salad and the salmon as our main. The appetizer and salad were both larger than expected. Salmon was cooked perfectly. The dining room was so cozy next to the fireplace. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.“

“Its going to sound funny, but its true- dinner and drinks at this place was easily the highlight of our ski trip this weekend. The mac and cheese with pulled pork was absolutely delicious! Probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had. The drinks were great and prices were fair. Special shoutout to the bartender and manager who were beyond kind and accomodating. If youre looking for a great spot to walk to from the hunter mountain area please move this one to the top of your list!“

“Excellent smash burgers, Falafel sandwiches, and ice cream. One friend and I had big daddys, my vegetarian friend had the Falafel sandwich. The big daddy had a nice quantity of blue cheese and sautéed onions, a delicious mess. The Falafel was reportedly very good also. Tater tots were perfectly crisp. They have quality ice cream for a nice finish for your meal. Also, it's good to support the few locally owned businesses that exist in and near Vail owned resorts“

“We found this little gem of a store on our way to the Hudson River Skywalk. This store (if you're from the Hagerstown/Hancock areas) is similar to The Blue Goose. There are several types of locally sourced hot sauces, honey, and maple syrup. There are also fresh made baked goods and sandwiches, and a seating area if you have time to dine in. In the back and throughout the store are some novelty items, toys, touristy keepsakes, etc. Everything is reasonably priced, and the staff were super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed this stop.“
