“An authentic french bakery! 42+ years of baking has really paid off. I’m so glad I was able to stop by before heading back home. The macaroons come in a set for $27. They are a must here (also gluten free). They don’t use food coloring in any of their pastries as well. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!”
“Delicious!! The Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. I had the pancakes with a side of fruit my husband had hd the eggs Benedict and it was great, will definitely be back.”
“The twice fried french fries are a must, but really everything is good. Also the best place for cocktails in the Catskills. Becomes a great scene on weekends with live music. Worth checking out.”
“Came on a rainy cold day so everyone was sitting inside. It was just two of us but they had much larger parties, like a bachelorette party. My first time visiting a winery and I loved it! My friend and I each got a flight to try a few different wines. Then I had to try my favorite type of wine, Sav Blanc, theirs is delicious!Barely any parking so try to car pool.”

“Not only was the food delicious, service amazing and had all around great vibes, the staff and management were some of the nicest and most genuine people my party and I have encountered.Kid-friendliness: I don’t believe there was a kids menu but our party consisted of four kids under the age of 6. Everyone was happy! Kiddos loved the lemon sorbet too!”
“Good food, good service, somewhat weird ambiance - it's a casual and informal type of place, lots of wood beams, the clientele is what you might expect in a semi-rural location. They are really doing something right with their tomahawk steaks! Someone in that kitchen really knows what they are doing! The steaks alone make this place nearly into a good dining destination that people would seek out for its quality - but it's not very conveniently located and the casual/informal ambiance doesn't make it stand out.”
“Absolutely loved the vegetable burrito I picked up here. Loaded in fresh delicious ingredients! Lovely staff, cozy casual environment! Can't wait to go back now for a great dine in experience! Welcome to Windham!”
“Wanted to get pizza for lunch , came in to Windham pizza with not a lot of good expectations ( I’m Brooklyn born so it’s very hard to impress me with pizza)Boy was I wrong … this pizza wasza soooo good . My husband and I had a new positive comment to make after every bite . Brooklyn worthy A+++++. So happy to have this at Windham”
“The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I was in bed with my beautiful girl friend and the ranch and buffalo chicken combo came right out of my behind, leaving a nose cringing smell that was the lerk around under my blanket for the next 25 minutes . Not only was my girlfriend terribly upset , she left my house that night and hasn't talked to me since. It's been 3 years.”
“Luncheon Specials are a fantastic deal. So much to choose from and most are under 9. Includes choice of rice...soup or soda.Staff is excellent. Outdoor seating. Mostly, 2- go. Hours vary.Vegetarian options: Yes!!”
“This was the best restaurant in Windham when I grew up there in the 80s and 90s. It's still the best restaurant there 30 years later. I've never tasted anything like Shrimp Brandywine at any other restaurant. So happy that Joe took over for his dad.Beyond just owning a great restaurant the family that owns it are wonderful people. Louie and Corrine (RIP both)were wonderful people who not only brought great food to an area that sorely needed it they also provided jobs to half the kids in my high school. On top of all that they have always given great deals for people who want to have a memorial service for a dead loved one. They basically gave us a free one when my cousin died and were beyond reasonable when I had my dad's memorial there. Please eat here.”
“A truly fantastic local sandwich shop! We placed two large lunch orders for our wedding weekend and could not have been happier with the results. The owner, Lori, is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We selected salads and sandwiches from their online menu and then called in the order a few days in advance. Lori was kind enough to deliver the food to our house and everything was a huge hit. All the ingredients are so fresh. This is a great, healthy, and satisfying option that we highly recommend!”
“Fast service and amazing food. High quality entree items for a diner—stuffed shrimp with crab better than most restaurant entrees. The fruit juices could be better though.”
“Highly recommended. Always a wonderful array of food, bespoke drinks, music, and excellent service. The interior design is a high-end, comfortable, relaxing ambiance.”
“Had the cheeseburger it was really great, cocktails were amazing. Im shocked by previous reviews as the service we hd was awesome they were attentive and fast they also had a large party and still met all of our needs and had a beautiful evening. Xo thanks the girls at Union and Post”
“I drove over 1 hr to get a Fudgie the Whale cake for a coworker. The man behind the counter was very helpful and polite. Very clean establishment! Five stars all around.”
“Cute little place in Hamlet. Had the BLT with chips. They use pork belly for their bacon; a thick slab that was very good. Chips or fries --I had the chips. Pleasant and efficient service.”
“Six stars for food and service. Excellent gluhwein mulled wine is homemade. I have a potatoe soup and a German burger. It's absolutely amazing food quality and price combination.”
“Soooo good! I stopped in and impulse bought a key lime pie bar and biscuit. Both were fresh and outstanding! The key lime pie in particular was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had LOTS. It’s a favorite. Craig the dude at the counter was also so nice and just cool.”
“So anybody else ever seen, a restaurant with nothing but 5 star reviews. That's pretty rare. You know why that happened because this restaurant is run by the 12 tribes cult. A pretty terrible call. There's actually a very long FBI report about them and all the child molestation. Child abuse child labor sexism, racism homophobia. Antisematism They were even Responsible for colorado's worst wildfire of all time burning over six thousand acres , the martial fire Burned to the ground 1802 homes in the process. Don't eat here, these are not good people. You don't have to believe me. There's an fbi report and plenty of documentation on these people. Yes, it's very quaint, the food might be good. They might seem like nice people but do not support this. This is not a good thing. The reason I gave it a 5 star rating. Is because you wouldn't see it if I gave it a one star rating”
“Phenomenal food. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the dips, particularly the whipped feta. Their steak & potatoes were perfectly cooked. Sit outside by the fire & bring your pups!”
“Absolutely love coming here. Truly one of our favorite breweries ever - mountain views, friendly staff and patrons, music playing, fire pit, dogs, great beer - you really can't beat it. We almost didn't come here at first because it was out of the way from where we were, but so glad we did - it's 100% worth it to make the trip! The food trucks there are always fantastic too - just check their IG or website to see what time they leave (we missed them one time when we came later in the day, our fault). Added bonus is the brewery's merch is great - we typically don't buy brewery merch but their designs are awesome (and good quality too - have been wearing my orange and black West Kill beanie for years!).”
“A great local spot with a fun, eclectic vibe. Strong menu delivers. The only spot nearby to Hunter that allows walk-ins. The staff is friendly, but the kitchen can get slammed, so just be patient. The food is worth the wait.”
“food was amazing!!!. Friend got a strip steak and LOVED IT. wings are TOP NOTCH. We stayed here for a week and went to a different restaurant/bar every night, even though it's not on the main strip, it is a MUST visit... definitely our favorite stop. thank you Zack for great food and an awesome night!!!”
“WOW WOW WOW I just purchased two small bags of cookies at the popular Stormville flea market. The lemon white chocolate chip is DELICIOUS. I haven’t tried the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie yet. I’m hiding from kids while enjoying these cookies!”
“Such a cute little diner! Quick service and good food!! I got the corned beef hash and my boyfriend got the Italian skillet- both are delicious options! Huge portions!!! Couldn’t finish my breakfast and had to take it to go. Will for sure be back here!!”
“I love looking for coffee shops everywhere I go and stumbled on this place after we hiked Kaaterskill Falls. Their Black Bear Burger is a MUST to try. I also had their Jolene which paired well with my burger. If this place wasn't on the opposite direction of where we needed to go we would've came back the next day just to get burgers to go! ?”
“I don't even know why you're reading this right now, ignore all other reviews, ignore all other food options. Go get some Deli Sandwiches or Various Salad(s) or home made baked goods or delicious speciality drinks. They close at 2 so get it in early. They're also closed Sunday and Monday. That's why you ignore everything else because if they're open and you need somewhere to eat: now you don't. Go get a sandwich or slaw/salad now.Now to explain my most common orders (pictures added below) are the Dirty Canadian & Dirty American. Order their American or Canadian, whichever you prefer. And add bacon to it. Then you also order a separate 1/4lb of roast beef and I personally like to order a small seafood or coleslaw. Then get either mesquite BBQ chips (for Canadian) or Salt&Pepper/Salt&Vinegar chips(for American). I'm a big believer in ice tea for a side or Arnold Palmer. Now for the assembly of the sandwich, you crush up your chips. Lay them down inside the roast beef and roll it up and place inside the sandwich. You can add hot sauce if you want now.The best part about all of this? It's just about $20 end of the day and you get enough food to eat a light dinner and pass out. I love eating here after a day of shredding.”
