“Such an awesome place had great food hot dogs and some of the most awesome ice cream selection and dishes. The owner who greeted us was very friendly and was able to tell us about the town that we were visiting and we had a great time sitting outside eating our hot dogs and ice cream. Plenty of parking right in front handicap accessible with a ramp and inside will remind you of your ice cream parlor childhood. Price point was perfect.“

“Coffee is great and food is always consistently good. Staff is friendly and the girl at the counter serving coffee has the best smile. They always makes you feel welcome. Place is consistently packed with locals and visitors. Get there early and get your seats before they are all taken.“
“One of my favorite places to have breakfast on a Saturday morning is The Hudson Valley Dessert Co. Connie and everyone at the bakery always put love into everything they make! This morning I got an egg and Asiago sandwich with avocado and homemade sausage that they make there! It was (and always is,) delicious! “We were passing by and saw this place; the burger was delicious, the beer and the cider were also really good. We ordered the blueberries cheese cake and it was the best cheesecake I have ever had, not too sweet and with real fresh blueberries. “What an amazing juice bar! My husband and I came from the city for a Catskill weekend trip. We stumbled into this place and so happy we did. We were greeted so welcoming as soon as we entered. We had two green juices and some health shots that were mixed for us. The place felt so homey and chill- we will be back.“

It seems like they have a lot of interesting options but I just went for a double scoop protein bowl of tuna. It was kind of expensive for what you got out of it but it tasted fresh and the pineapple miso sauce was really good! The workers were extremely nice and it was overall a good experience!“
“Good great experience at the original Mickey igloo. I always take my dog there after I bathe him in Port Ewen. I get a medium vanilla cone and I give him about a half a cup. That's his treat for being such a good dog while he was getting his It's so delicious I love soft, serve ice cream it's one of my favorite things in the whole world.“

I went with a friend of mines & she enjoyed her flight of beer/cider.Con: me & my friend got there at 730ish on Friday night closing at 8. The bar tender took our order as the last round and provided us with the bill on the iPad & paid. At no point did the bartender ask of we were enjoying our beer or if it was first time there. she seemed annoyed that we even showed up at 730. She didn't speak to us after providing the beer, she seemed in rush to shut the place down. I wish the customer service was better. With that being said I'd go again because of the quality of the cider/beer and the ambiance was nice was but not customer service“
“Friendly staff and dog friendly outside or in the heated tent. The heated tent was actually pretty warm for it being only about 25°F outside. The NY IPA was good, and I like that they have 3 different size options, but the mushroom and swiss burger was delicious!! Definitely don't skip the burger, wish I had gotten a picture before we devoured it!“

Unassuming from the outside, the dining room opens into a large room with quaintly matched tables and chairs, brightly-colored vases, and rustic art on the walls. It feels like home... and the way Donna and Joe treated us was just like family.The lunch was incredible. The aptly-named 'crack sauce' delivered, a warm and spicy compliment to perfectly fried chicken. The apple slaw cooled things down just right.This will be our spot every time works brings us back to Kingston. And they have rye bauernbrot that is the real deal! I will try to return everytime I travel to that area. The half chicken dish is simply unbelievable - in a class of its own.If there were any disappointments it was only because many other dishes performed so well. My tacos are great on their own but will not be the stars of the show. The maple ice cream is very good but a bit strongly flavored for the end of the night.We will return, probably many more times.“

“We often go to Valley Harvest when we don't feel like cooking. Great salads and decent sandwiches - the hot dog is good too. The best thing about this place is the ice cream. Micro batches of really unique flavors. A word of caution - it does take a while for the food - lots of locals call ahead for orders or do take-out. Otherwise it's a favorite!“

“We have been here many times and had excellent meals; tonight's was somewhat of a disappointment. Our waitress was excellent and listened at the end of our dinner to our disappointments and provided desserts, which we hadn't asked for, but was very sweet. But the young staff hovered and kept trying to rush us and take away our plates, which we were still working on. We asked them to "slow down" the service. We understand wanting turns but we felt too hurried to finish. The salmon was overcooked and an unappealing small tail piece. The other dish--shrimp with beans--was too many beans but tasty. We will return and hope for the five-star quality we have become accustomed to. Prices are fair for the portion size and overall quality. We also probably won't come again on a Saturday eve when it is so busy, which is great for the restaurant.“
