“As soon as I walked in, I knew this bakery was the real deal. Sweet aroma of delicious pastries in the air, an abundance of options and excellent customer service. I knew it was unlikely I'd find a whole strawberry cheesecake same day but Cafe Piccolo really came through for me! Even though they had plain cheesecake they were so kind to turn it into a strawberry cheesecake so last minute. Everyone in my family loved it! My family and I will definitely return here to try their other pastries ?“

“Our town bagels the best. I hate to see this place to get bad reviews. That being said I have family that comes in from Alaska and NC they absolutely love the bagels here. I get donuts here for my kids because they blow dunkin out of the water(be careful some times the sell out of the jelly donuts) when running behind on the morning routine I get my family eggs sandwiches here and my kids love them.“

“Whenever I visit my friend in Westchester county, I always make her drive me the hour to Katonah just for LMNOP bakery! I love the baguette sandwiches and the large loaves to take home. The ambiance is so lovely, a great place to have a relaxing lunch.I took a sourdough class from her when she worked out of her house, which was also amazing.“

Tucked in a little side street is this amazing and incredible Portuguese bakery right in the heart of Carmel. This husband and wife duo is extremely kind and ready to serve you your favorite baked goods. Though baked goods are ready to serve you, custom cakes, wedding cakes and special occasion desserts is their jam. You can place a custom order of just about anything, just speak with Stefanie and she's got you! This quaint little bakery is nice and cozy, you can order to go or hang out for a moment. They also have tea and coffee available, nothing crazy but just something to go with that sweet or savory treat.“

“The atmosphere was truly amazing, it really felt like such a cozy store and a great selection of books. The foods are definitely a bit pricey and the art supplies are very expensive, good snacks and drinks, I really recommend the pastries, definitely a Katonah favorite.Vegetarian options: There are meat options but there are still really good salads and pastries as well and sandwiches you can find good snacks and drinks as well, maybe not perfect for vegans though.Dietary restrictions: They ask you before any order about allergies, they are very good about health and safetyParking: There’s a lot in the back and as the owners say, please park in their side of the lot and not the spot next door.Kid-friendliness: They have kids books and a small toys section, definitely a kid friendly spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it isn’t the most wheelchair friendly area, there are front steps to the store and I think there are back steps as well, there is also shopping upstairs so maybe not.“

“Not only is the store front so cute and fun but the baked goods are amazing and affordable. I ordered a vintage style heart cake for my birthday and when I went to pick it up I also got cookies and macarons. Everything was delicious and the staff were friendly and kind. I was given a cake pop for free for my birthday. Also when designing the cake they were very responsive via email which worked out great for me. I’ll definitely be back for more.“

“I went to visit Bobo's Cafe since there was a cars and coffee being held there in the lot. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection and how nice it was inside. It offered a very nice environment and plenty of sitting. I had a Latte and a Maui Wowie which is a fruit smoothie. The smoothie was very delicious and well made and the Latte too was an enjoyable drink and I highly recommend both selections. I look forward to visiting again.“

“There are so many unique options at this bakery. The chocolate concha and coquito tres leches were both amazing. When we were craving pan de sal like the ones my family eats in Ecuador, they were happy to bake them for us and had the order ready in only a few hours both times. The sweet lady who prepared our order was super caring and knew a ton about all the menu items. There is plenty of space to sit down and eat. I will make sure to come here every time I am craving something sweet.“

“Today we got a cake for my sisters baby shower. We called several places and were quoted 500+ for a cake to feed 35-40 people. JMB quoted us a fair price and quickly accommodated us. We had a Winnie the Pooh inspiration photo with floral designs - not only was the cake exactly like the photo but , they even incorporated real fresh flowers. The cake was so well designed, and most importantly, it was delicious! The employees are so kind and helpful. Not to mention so flexible throughout the process. We were blown away by the cake we picked up today, and our guests felt the same way. I can’t recommend JMB enough! The cake was more perfect than we ever imagined.“

“What a find! We happened to come across this market on the way to Danbury. Picked up lamb shepard's pie, Valentine's day tea, locally made chocolate chip pancake mix, and some amazing doughnuts. They have a lot to offer. The apples looked huge and they had a good selection of baked goods and pies.“

“Excellent bagel shop. Polite and attentive staff. Appropriate and evenly spread quantities of cream cheese on bagels. Plain bagels so good that you can eat them without any spread (butter cream cheese etc.). Good specials. Great specialty breakfast sandwiches.The everything bagels appropriately have salt but are a bit of.a sodium bomb - greatly enjoyed nonetheless.“

My daughter knew exactly what she wanted for her sweet 16 cake and Nicole was able to deliver it exactly to her specifications. And my son was turning 21 so we wanted something special and fun. “I'm so glad that I rediscovered Salingers this summer. I went for a Cherry Pie and came out with so much more. Tim Salinger was so friendly, helpful and runs a business with excellent baked goods, fresh produce and fruit, plants and flowers and country store finds. One day I went for in another Cherry Pie and they were out. I was reminded to call ahead and they will hold one for me. So as not to disappoint my husband Tim sent me home with a Frozen Cherry Pie that I baked. Every dessert that I have tried was delicious, prepared foods also made in house and delicious, fresh corn, vegetables, fruit also are top notch. This is a local gem.“
