They also have a buffet style service if you are in a hurry on you want something quick to go. Bread is yummy, they have conchas and a lot of sweet bread that you can get. Love that this is local and I can have a yummy cheap meal anytime.“
“What a find! We happened to come across this market on the way to Danbury. Picked up lamb shepard's pie, Valentine's day tea, locally made chocolate chip pancake mix, and some amazing doughnuts. They have a lot to offer. The apples looked huge and they had a good selection of baked goods and pies.“
“I have to go to doctor's appointment once a month in Carmel. Well, I stop here when we do ( thank goodness I am limited to once a month) I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have yet to be disappointed. My goodness! The tarts are amazing! The apple strudel is amazing! The fruit tastes like summer! Do you have a raspberry bush or a greenhouse somewhere?! And the cheese/sausage bread is to DIE FOR! “I'm so glad that I rediscovered Salingers this summer. I went for a Cherry Pie and came out with so much more. Tim Salinger was so friendly, helpful and runs a business with excellent baked goods, fresh produce and fruit, plants and flowers and country store finds. One day I went for in another Cherry Pie and they were out. I was reminded to call ahead and they will hold one for me. So as not to disappoint my husband Tim sent me home with a Frozen Cherry Pie that I baked. Every dessert that I have tried was delicious, prepared foods also made in house and delicious, fresh corn, vegetables, fruit also are top notch. This is a local gem.“

The foods are definitely a bit pricey and the art supplies are very expensive, good snacks and drinks, I really recommend the pastries, definitely a Katonah favorite.Vegetarian options: There are meat options but there are still really good salads and pastries as well and sandwiches you can find good snacks and drinks as well, maybe not perfect for vegans though.Dietary restrictions: They ask you before any order about allergies, they are very good about health and safetyParking: There’s a lot in the back and as the owners say, please park in their side of the lot and not the spot next door.Kid-friendliness: They have kids books and a small toys section, definitely a kid friendly spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it isn’t the most wheelchair friendly area, there are front steps to the store and I think there are back steps as well, there is also shopping upstairs so maybe not.“

“Not only is the store front so cute and fun but the baked goods are amazing and affordable. I ordered a vintage style heart cake for my birthday and when I went to pick it up I also got cookies and macarons. Everything was delicious and the staff were friendly and kind. I was given a cake pop for free for my birthday. Also when designing the cake they were very responsive via email which worked out great for me. I’ll definitely be back for more.“

“There are so many unique options at this bakery. The chocolate concha and coquito tres leches were both amazing. When we were craving pan de sal like the ones my family eats in Ecuador, they were happy to bake them for us and had the order ready in only a few hours both times. The sweet lady who prepared our order was super caring and knew a ton about all the menu items. There is plenty of space to sit down and eat. I will make sure to come here every time I am craving something sweet.“

“I went to visit Bobo's Cafe since there was a cars and coffee being held there in the lot. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection and how nice it was inside. It offered a very nice environment and plenty of sitting. I had a Latte and a Maui Wowie which is a fruit smoothie. The smoothie was very delicious and well made and the Latte too was an enjoyable drink and I highly recommend both selections. I look forward to visiting again.“

“As soon as I walked in, I knew this bakery was the real deal. Sweet aroma of delicious pastries in the air, an abundance of options and excellent customer service. I knew it was unlikely I'd find a whole strawberry cheesecake same day but Cafe Piccolo really came through for me! Even though they had plain cheesecake they were so kind to turn it into a strawberry cheesecake so last minute. Everyone in my family loved it! “Our town bagels the best. I hate to see this place to get bad reviews. That being said I have family that comes in from Alaska and NC they absolutely love the bagels here. I get donuts here for my kids because they blow dunkin out of the water(be careful some times the sell out of the jelly donuts) when running behind on the morning routine I get my family eggs sandwiches here and my kids love them.“
