“If you live or work in the Danbury area, you’ve probably heard about the hype surrounding Bagelman. From what I’ve experienced yes, the service is great, but the bagels are just “okay.” They’re all freshly made, but seem to lack a great degree of flavor IMO. And per my request, the bagel was toasted, but the degree of butter added was excessive, giving the bagel a soggy texture.Given it was my first time at Bagelman, the environment felt incredibly chaotic. The area surrounding the counter, and between counter and door, was very small. The line was blocking the entrance and it was hard to determine exactly where to stand. With this in mind, I don’t feel like I had the best opportunity to really explore or appreciate the different menu items. As a consideration, it would be nicer to have the menus behind the counter printed in larger font for easier accessibility.In addition to my garlic bagel, I also got a hazelnut latte. For a little over $6, I was pleasantly surprised by Bagelman’s prices, and while my bagel was just “okay,” my latte offered a nice morning pick-me-up. All things considering, I wouldn’t mind stopping in again and maybe picking up a bagel or treat more to my liking.“

“Our first visit to crumbles in Danberry, nobody greeted us when we walked in, and the guy that came up to us from Service did not help us at all didn’t explain the process to us nothing. We did, however get a lot of help from a young girl, who was a customer. With that being said, the cookies are phenomenal, hands-down the best I’ve ever had. I also don’t particularly ever like icing, and their icing is delicious and fresh. I just placed our second order to be delivered. It was here in 15 minutes. Crazy love this place.“
