Ele-Fant Bakery is a cafe-style establishment that has been serving the community for decades. New owners took over a few years ago, transforming it into one of the area's top bakeries. Known for its wide selection of fresh bread and sweet baked goods, the bakery offers a cozy atmosphere with indoor seating and friendly service.
The bakery's large French and Italian bread are particularly popular, as they make excellent French toast. To prepare, cut 1-inch thick slices, soak them completely in an egg and Half-and-Half mix, cook on very low heat in a buttered frying pan for about 30 minutes on each side.
