“Yum! Yum! Yum!!The cinnamon bread!! I stopped in today - my daughter lives in town; there was a lovely lady there named Mary ( realtor- introduced herself) and suggested the cinnamon bread and she wasn’t kidding !! Delicious!!! I’ll be stopping there on my weekly visits to my daughter!!!“
“Such an amazing cake!! It looked great and was just what I envisioned when I sent the inspiration pictures. Besides the look, the cake itself tasted great and the fondant is homemade so it’s not just edible but it tasted good too. Birthday party was Friday, whole cake eaten by Sunday.“
“The cookies at this company are nothing short of delicious. They have a variety of cookies for all different times of year. Whether you get cookies, blondies or even their brownies, you are guaranteed to want more.The staff are very nice, and they will even tell you what cookies they recommend. When you walk in you smell the sweet smell of cookies and sugar and not to mention everything else they sell. You also see the endearing environment. All the art and furniture make you have to look around. I would 100% recommend this company for anyone who is visiting town.“
“This is a very tiny shop, but they have seating outside for the warmer weather. Ovens Of France is the best bakery outside of those one might find in Greenwich, CT. I live in Guilford, and it's worth the trip to Woodbury to buy their products. Try the chocolate mousse cake. It's the absolute best. I buy one and freeze slices, it lasts for months. The eclaires don't have overly sweet pudding in the center but a rich cream. The croissants are like nothing you'll ever find elsewhere. They open early, like 6am, for early birds.Parking: They are in a shopping center. The parking is always plentiful and close.“
“Wonderful little pastry and bakery shop. The place might be small but gosh! The quality is really high. I walked away with the Tres Leches (3 milk) cake and their Coconut cream tart as well as a slice of pound cake to snack on. My friend had the same coconut cream tart and ordered a bunch of their cookies - neither of us were complaining. I practically inhaled my tres leches cake. The owner is friendly as well. When I asked her which 3 milks did she use for her tres leches cake, I asked because the recipe I use has coconut milk. She said that she can't use coconut milk because "this is Connecticut" which I'm guessing means that even something as bland as coconut milk is probably too exotic for Connecticut WASPs. Still I hope this place sticks around because her offerings are wonderful and Woodbury needs some a dose of exoticness.“
“They are so kind and friendly here. I was warmly welcomed this morning when I went in to buy some snacks and goodies just because. I picked an item that I thought was the last item and the gentleman that was helping me was "oh I'll have to bring out some more." My response was if you have another one I'll gladly take it and they made another one for me on the fly. I was super appreciative and my fiance definitely approved. Thank you again for the kindness and the delicious goodies I'm happy to enjoy. You've made it such a welcoming environment.“
