“Now, I never ever write reviews, as I’m just an easy-going, genuine girl who will say whatever she feels best in person, but after taking a single sip of my ‘Iced Peeps Latte’ made by the name ‘Emily’ on my receipt, or whoever the absolute sweetheart is working at 6:40 PM on 03/21/24, I could not go without writing this and making sure she gets her due credit. I have been a loyal customer to Plasko’s for as long as I can remember, having grown up right around the corner from here in Stratford, CT, and come in just about on a weekly basis now, and this coffee I just received is hands-down the best one I’ve ever tasted in my life. I’m the biggest coffee lover I know, and I just need my fellow customers and the admirable staff to know here that this amazing human being went above and beyond in her customer service skills, made me feel so welcomed and seen right away, took my order with care and letted me know that this was her first time making this seasonal drink yet as it just dropped on their menu today, and I just have to say they absolutely made it to pure perfection. One of her favorite pastries was sfogliatelle, and we were pleased to not only see that Del Pete had them available but also that they were so good! My grandmother would have been so proud. “Traveling in the area for a family visit we had heard of this gem bakery and did our best to get there before closing on a Saturday. We selected a sample of the items the owner had left. A few donuts, 2 cookies and 2 meat pies. All are made with such pride and are delicious!! The uniqueness of the donuts can’t be explained .. must be sampled. The chocolate chip giant cookie is heavenly.. and the chicken Parm meat pie is today’s lunch. I’d highly recommend this woman owned bakery. She is remarkable and very customer service focused. “We ordered bride and groom cake pops for our 11/6/21 wedding. We were so happy with the final result! The cake pops were absolutely beautiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. The cake pops were also quite large, moist, and filling; they made the perfect wedding favors. The guests are still raving about them.
