“I'm so thrilled about this gem! Everything Fatto a Mano makes is from heart! I can feel the passion in all the bakery here. The sourdough, Focaccia, biscotti, Riccia (we call it lobster tail), bread stick, etc. cannot get enough. I wanted to mention biscotti especially, as it was not my thing in the past. But now it's my favorite! Must try if you are in Westport CT area!“

“Our family has become “addicted” to Kneads! We have tried pretty much everything and absolutely everything is delicious. Obviously the breads are top notch and may be bought by the loaf OR get a side of sourdough with their amazing farm fresh butter to go with whatever else you order. The salads are amazing and their egg dishes are all wonderful. The Mushroom Scramble and Farmers Breakfast are two “go to’s”.
If you’re lucky , you will meet Cat (Kathleen) who is the manager and keeps things running smoothly.
If you want something sweet… Chocolate Biscotti, Blueberry Pie, individual bread pudding anyone? SO GOOD! Once you go you’ll find yourself there- a lot! Great coffee too. Almost hate to rave about it for fear of long lines but even when the line gets long, “Cat” keeps it moving. A+

Dietary restrictions: Plenty of healthy options and they only use whole wheat flour. Vegetarian options abound.

Parking: Large lot just abutting the back side of the store if not enough parking in the lot Kneads face

Kid-friendliness: Very VERY kid friendly - hustling place and outdoor seating options make it easy to find a spot where your kid can be a kid“

The non profit bakery has the most delicious options perfect with a fresh cup of coffee on a fall day outside on the porch. The chef made a perfect breakfast sandwich!!! Much respect and kudos. “They have excellent products, the problem is there hours are, at best, estimated hours… Sometimes they’re supposed to be Open, but they’re closed. They never answer the phone, I’ve left two messages for calls back In the past few months, never get a return phone call. The service people are very nice but not very well. Inform on specific questions one would have cakes, etc. hence for the owner to call back or someone to call back.“
