Great service, Great food, the ice coffee was great!
If u want small town coffee shop this is it. Pretty crowded during peak hours
They may have started in New Haven but they have created the most welcoming spot in Southport CT. Grab a croissant or a cronut (yum!) and an iced coffee — trust us it is the perfect beginning or end to a Southport stroll. Did you know they even offer growlers of iced coffee? Grabbed one and a zucchini loaf to serve to play date moms. 👌

The Sono Baking Company & Cafe is a charming bakery located in the quaint neighborhood of Southport. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making customers feel at home. The bakery offers a variety of delicious treats, including sourdough bread products, pastries, and sweet treats such as chocolate chip cookies, lemon poppyseed muffins, and pies. Their coffee and hot chocolate are also highly praised. The bakery is locally owned and offers a range of options for both dairy and non-dairy milk lovers. The flourless chocolate cake and plum tart are two popular desserts, while the lemon poppyseed muffins stand out for their great texture and lemony flavor. Some customers note that the blueberry scones and muffins could use more blueberries, and the cheese danish could be improved with more cheese and crisp layers. Despite this, the cozy atmosphere and excellent service make The Sono Baking Company & Cafe a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a lovely breakfast, brunch, or afternoon treat.
