“I had such a wonderful experience today, at this charming bakery! First of all, Yumi and Chloe served me; I walked in from NYC ten minutes before they closed for the day (at 2:50 PM), and they were still kind, polite and courteous. Wow! They welcomed me as though I'd walked in two hours earlier, and that's a rare find in this inpatient day and age! : ) Thanks, ladies! I ordered a hot chocolate with dairy milk and a chai latte with non-dairy milk (oat milk), and both were terrific. The chai was a little sweet for my taste, but it's all good. : ) I also ordered the flourless chocolate cake and a plum tart. Both of these desserts were yummy! My spouse and I shared our treats outdoors, on the lawn of the local library - which is just down the street from the bakery - and it made for a lovely afternoon. “It's fast food but the drive through works very fast. You can then hop right back on I-95 exit 19 to continue your travels. Good food too. Egg and cheese wraps are lite. Pumpkin spice hot or cold coffee are amazing!Parking: Easy access back on I-95 or back on the Post Road Rt 1.“

“This place is an institution in landmark of Fairfield. It’s a famous spot that David Letterman and Martha Stewart go to really great hotdogs and super cool place to eat. “What a wonderful experience! I’m traveling from out of town and was looking for yummy vegan breakfast options, and Source delivered. Their vegan Animal Style breakfast sandwich was so good I went back and asked for another one. The tofu scramble is seasoned SO well, it’s so flavorful, and the bread is so toasty and some of the best bread I’ve had. Highly recommend. I also got their miso hot chocolate, which was really interesting and yummy, and the iced juniper berry matcha, which blew me AWAY. They’re seasonal drinks which made it more exciting.The staff were incredibly friendly as well, and the decor was lovely. A wonderful little spot for breakfast and brunch.Will return if I’m in the area again!“

“Traveling in the area for a family visit we had heard of this gem bakery and did our best to get there before closing on a Saturday. We selected a sample of the items the owner had left. A few donuts, 2 cookies and 2 meat pies. All are made with such pride and are delicious!! The uniqueness of the donuts can’t be explained .. must be sampled. The chocolate chip giant cookie is heavenly.. and the chicken Parm meat pie is today’s lunch. I’d highly recommend this woman owned bakery. She is remarkable and very customer service focused. “Really good coffee. They rotate the beans they use so sometimes so sometimes it tastes different but they roast beans in house and it makes for some of the best coffee in town. Their breakfast sandwich is also great, with crispy bacon and eggs that aren't over or under-dome, and the best part is the pretzel style bun they put it on. 5/5 favorite breakfast sandwich.“

“Chic and Pristine!! Just moved to Stratford and this little cafe is right down the street from my house! The empanadas are delicious and the coffee is yummy! Everything else? “I love Las Vetas! It is the best coffee spot in Fairfield, no question. The vibe of this spot is so cool, with various music and other 60s/70s memorabilia and tchotchkes decorating the interior. It feels old school and classic in such a fun way. There's even a piano near the back. It's not just the ambiance, the food is great too. Frothy, delicious lattes are served in mugs, if you stay for your meal. They also make really tasty breakfast sandwiches, probably one of the best I've had in the area. And the employees are great too. Always super nice, greeting you with a smile and a brief conversation. I really can't recommend Las Vetas enough. I'm now a regular!“

Forty-five possible varieties with some unusual ones like Banana Cream Pie, Blueberry Cheesecake, Peanut Butter & Jelly, and Sweet Potato S'mores. We picked up a Chocolate Chip (Brown sugar cookie mixed with dark chocolate chips) and the love child of a brownie and a cookie called a "Brookie" (Brown sugar cookie mixed with dark chocolate chips swirled with a fudgy brownie base) for $4.75 each. Now, what does a $4.75 get you? Well, quite a bit - they were 4 inches across and an inch thick. A teense over six ounces in weight. And speaking of weight, according to their website, each cookie contains 4 servings at 170 calories per serving. So, in other words, each cookie contained 680 calories (in case you're keeping score at home). We each rationed out a quarter of the chocolate chip cookie last night, and the portion size was surprisingly decent. And it was delicious! Our server Jonathan, was super friendly, had a great personality, and was a pleasure to chat with. Chip City has 31 locations spread across CT, FL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, and VA.“

The empanada was tasty but light on the filling. Elephant ear pastry was fresh baked and as good as I've had. There are about six tables to dine in, or take out.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, mainly empanadas and pastries.Parking: Free street parking right outside, can be a bit more difficult during busy times of the day/week.“

“Second time here. Went once a few years ago. Their specialty donuts are very good such as the cannoli cream and the hostess donut but the plainer basic donuts weren't anything to write home about for me but that is just my opinion as they weren't bad just not my cup of tea. I for sure would get the specialty over the top donuts here again as they do execute them very well. The cream inside of the hostess donut was absolutely delicious. The staff was very nice, the inside is cute and plenty of seating available. Also must add the coffee was good.“

I was there that day and witnessed it all happen. The owner of the establishment and his reply is the completely accurate story. The staff was quick in their ability to make it right but I’m sure nothing would have been correct for her that day. I myself was astonished by the attitude and demeanor of the customer that day and would find it unacceptable in every event. The establishment played every exchange correctly. “Donut crazy consistently has some of the best donuts in the state (all locations), as well as fantastic breakfast sandwiches and other baked goods. Service at this location is very wonky...they will take 5 guests quickly then leave you waiting for a while and it all seems very unorganized. I generally love coffee at donut crazy but this location doesn't do pour overs, so major point loss for that.“

She also told me you can order a small, medium, or large coffee and/or order a small, medium, or large donut. I get the name now!! The workers are so nice too, they even add extra shots if there's any left over. You need to try their pastries as well. Their lemon cakes are amazing. “We had an amazing time at the granola bar! The food was very fresh and flavorful! If you like a latte packed with different flavors you should definitely try the Turkish latte. The cashew lemon berry parfait was fantastic. The yogurt was creamy and the granola is literally no joke! I loved the steak and chimi sandwich. The avocado aioli was smooth and all the flavors meshed well together and I love that you get a side salad with your meal.
