“Today was my first time trying Asian Ginger and it is now the only spot I will go to in Beacon for Chinese. The food is very good and the owners are FANTASTIC. Amazing customer service, I felt so welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for the great experience :))“
“The service here is very on point, when I placed the order by phone they carefully repeated the order to ensure it was right and even in person as well when I placed it up. Also when I ordered the tea there, she asked how I wanted it and to shake it up to blend for a better flavor. Now the fried crab sticks were great, very meaty without shrinking due to frying and the outer batter was very crispy. House special fried rice I was pleasantly surprised that pork and chicken were in large slices portions rather tiny diced like other places, definitely worth it and felt like rice was more loaded. Rice itself was good, nothing fancy. Now the tea, very surprisingly that a take out has it, but let me say, it was amazing, got the Tokyo tea and it was a mix of strawberry and yakult which is like a yogurt drink. Plus love the Light up ice cube they put in tea to add to galaxy theme tea it's from.“
“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“
“The cucumber salads were both very good and refreshing. The lo mein was super tasty, great quality. There is a generous amount of dumplings for an affordable price! I got the vegetarian ones which were okay, but the pork and scallion ones were amazing! I'm getting those next time! The egg drop soup was good, but it had sesame oil in it, which I am not used to and would have preferred it without.“
“Excellent food and service. Had shrimp with broccoli which was delicious. California roll was excellent too. Nice clean take-out Chinese restaurant that also has a comfortable dining room and friendly table service too. Been eating here for “
“I've been living in this area for over 10 years SO many Chinese restaurants. There were all "okay", nothing to write home about... Today we ordered from FOOCHOW... you guys this place is INCREDIBLE. I actually called the restaurant just to let them know how delicious everything was. We will most definitely be ordering only from FOOCHOW from now on“
“I love this family business so much! I always get my homestyle beancurd with garlic sauce and its AMAZING every time. The quality of food is spectacular. Its always extremely clean here and the owners are such good people. They are always so kind as well as their kids. I tried it out here for the first time only a month ago and now I’m a loyal customer. I also want to add as someone who is having a sad Christmas this year I’m very grateful they are open. Made my day, thank you.Vegetarian options: Get the homestyle bean curd highly recommendDietary restrictions: Vegan and Gluten free!“
“This is by far the absolute best chinese restaurant in this entire area.I was really loosing hope at finding a restaurant where the food taste like it should.I knew this was the place when I saw that they serve the home made ice tea!!! None of the other chinese restaurants serve it.I highly recommend buying your food here.YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!“
“took a day trip up to newburgh/beacon from nyc and was really craving chinese food and found this spot. we got general tso's and crab rangoon. good portion sizes and well-seasoned, not too saucy. definitely want to come back just for the general tso's!“
“Egg foo young w vegetables and two egg rolls..out of this world ! Stopped by this place for a quick bite to eat and food was excellent! Kitchen and restaurant is spotlessly clean and staff is warm and accommodating. Highly recommend Happy Garden“
“I can’t express to you how much I love this place. Our usual spot was great for a while and then their food changed dramatically (for the worse). We then tried this place out and was amazed at how tender the chicken is. How flavorful their sauces are. It is kind of the whole package. At this point, we’ve had their food many times and it tastes perfect every time. The chicken is super tender everytime. There is no other spot for us anymore.“
“When children are doing school work behind the counter, you know it's a good spot to eat.Seriously though, they are the best in, not just the area, but the surrounding areas.Broth is always on point with their soups, food is always fresh.“
“came here to get some lunch, I ordered the lunch special shrimp w. broccoli with pork fried rice and it comes with soup or soda, I choose wonton soup. can't say there very friendly here, but my food was made quickly and I was thanked for my order. so for the meal, I found the shrimp a bit smaller then the standard size other take outs give, also I noticed the shrimp tasted like it was cooked by itself rather then sautéed in the sauce, which is different but was not a deal breaker. the broccoli I found to be the same in terms of how it was cooked, and it was neatly cut sizes. loved the fried rice, unlike most places that get lazy with fried rice these guys, make that nice bright yellow drier grain fried rice, that taste fresh and not a brown clumpy mess. plenty of pork bits in the rice and flavorful. wonton soup, the broth was good, wish the green onions were finished being cut up, since I got a string of one semi cut. wontons themselves, were generous in portion for a lunch special add on, but I found the wonton, lacking, since usually they are folded neatly and these were similar to a shopping bag with one orange at the bottom. so about half and half with the food I got. but overall, speed I got food and fried rice made well worth the trip.“
“I Absolutely love this Place when mom and I visit New York a Place I grew up it’s just a Blast from a Past and that has a lot to do with the Comfort Food of Great Wall, I love they’re Chicken and Broccoli definitely recommend putting egg drop soup on the rice it along with the Entree it’s so delicious and there Ribs are the best in Newburgh.“
“Panda is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Consistently, you can expect quality food at an almost affordable price. The gentleman at the counter is usually welcoming for the most part. Sometimes, it seems like he may not be in the best of moods. That can happen when dealing with the general public day in and day out. It is a great place to stop in for some Chinese food, for sure.“
“Personally I've been coming here since 2002... Eddie I guess in the recent years has taken a little back seat to being there... but with that being said...the real jems are on the wall or in the photo album not the generic "round eye" paper menu that you basically see at every Chinese restaurant...best noodle soups around.“
“This restaurant is easy to get to in the mall and has fast, clean service. The take away is neatly made and the food is really as excellent as any diner! There is enough selection that many people can choose something! The food is prepared well and tastes really good!“
“We ordered here this evening and we were impressed! The food is much better than the rest of the Chinese restaurants we've ordered from , you can tell they use better quality meats and vegetables . From my phone in order to pick up the staff is friendly and pleasant ( don't see that a lot these days ! ) so with that all we have finally found our go to place . Only bummer closed on Sundays.“
“Food is of excellent quality. Always fresh, never overly greasy like a lot of other places and very flavorful. Many unique menu options. The restaurant is extremely clean. Most importantly the owners are wonderful people with the wife being such a sincere and sweet woman. We have frequented them for years now after discovering them and will never go anywhere else. Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant of all time.“
“Great food, never got sick ever. Staff takes orders n its quick! U wait maybe 15minutes max from showing up n ordering. U can call ahead though to order. Prices r good for the portion sizes! I got a pint of house lo mein, wonton soup, and na shrimp egg roll for $13! Can't beat that! Staff nice and U can eat inside! Parking is limited but still good n easy. It is wheel chair accessible. There is no restroom though for public. It's the best Chinese in Newburgh! Plz though bring back pints of hot n sour! They only sell now quarts ugh..many choices on the menu if U want no salt or vegetarian too! They have lunch specials for cheaper also.Vegetarian options: There are many choices like egg foo Young n you can get steamed vegetables.Dietary restrictions: U can get low sodium plates/dishes or no salt n there are more then just 2 or 3. They will work w you!Parking: U can park right in front of the restaurant, there is always room or across the street in a huge parking lot all for free or park on the side street but I wouldn't in Newburgh!Kid-friendliness: U can dine in but has no child boosters or high chairs. Just adult chairs w metal tables.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get out in parking lot. No lip straight into the restaurant. The door though is not push button but U can wheel in. Also the window is a bit high up but the second opening is wheelchair level so don't worry! Can wheel right up to a table inside.“
“This is the only Chinese restaurant we'll order from! I LOVE their vegetable fried rice and the quality of their food is consistent. I've never had a problem or disliked my meal from here. My family will even come from Monroe to have this Chinese food with me because it beats all their local ones too. Staff is always friendly and pickup is quick.“
“As I walked inside this Japanese restaurant it is decorated in dark woods so I immediately felt like I was in a Japanese spa. I was immediately greeted and seated. I had stopped in for lunch and ordered a chicken udon soup and a small sake. My first time trying sake, I have nothing to compare to but I did enjoy it as it sat well in my stomach. The broth was light, fresh mushrooms, carrots and bok choy. There was half hard boiled egg. On the side was hot pepper oil to give my soup a kick. I also added soy sauce for added flavor. The bowl was a good size as I was able to finish it completely. Their restrooms are very clean and parking was a free city lot across the street. No meters on the street but parking wasn't available.“
