“The food here was GREAT! I loved the crab rangoon and I would definitely come back again. atmosphere was great felt like memories when i was in my fathers womb came flooding back so nostalgic in the best way, just like that ratatouille scene you know the movie! If you think the food is bad then you have horrible taste then and you don't know heaven till you get here! Also girl at the front she was so nice and our corporation was great I almost mistook her as a eggroll I was so hungry glad my friend stopped me from eating her! definitely coming back again Mr beast signing out. Dattebayo! '3'. I'm sacrificing you if you don't like this food because this is the best food I tasted in a while this restaurant is soo niche.“

“Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to!
The customer service is great, very nice family and the food is steaming hot and phenomenal!
I have asked locals around town where the best spot is and this place is always rated #1!
I have seen this restaurant packed with customers ordering to go, which I have never seen in a Chinese restaurant before! They were very fast to deliver food considering the HIGH DEMAND!“

“The customer service is horrible, the front desk "warden" is very nasty. If you ask her a question she ignores you, all she is focused on is the money and not her customers. They raised their prices and took away the senior discount. The food is good although not always hot, they have a good variety. Whenever they have crabs you better bring your own utensil to crack them with or have a great set of teeth. They have a limited supply of crab crackers and ignore you when you ask for one. I am not particularly happy with the way they allow children to serve themselves. They should inform adults that they must accompany children to the servers. I actually saw a child eating out of the servers, wiped her nose with her hand like some children do and proceed to get food. its useless to bring it to the attention of the workers, they did nothing. Food good, service not so good. I waited months between visits...no change. Years ago it was a pleasure to visit.“

“Great beer selection and the food is killer always a great crowd be back soon“
“One of the better Chinese places in the area. I wanted to try a bunch of things so I had the general tso lunch plate with fried rice and egg drop soup. The general tso isn't too spicy but still tasty especially with the rice. I also had the spring rolls which were nice and crispy, not my favorite flavor but I prefer thai spring rolls so thats just a me thing. The crab rangoon is better than the one up the road. The pork egg roll was huge in my opinion, and with some sauce was great! The egg drop soup was exactly what I wanted. Had i ordered just my food and egg roll with crab rangoon wouldve spent less than $20. Overall 5/5, will be ordering again!“

“Restaurant Review
The food here is outstanding. Prices are very reasonable, and the flavors are impressively close to authentic Chinese cuisine. While this is primarily a take-out restaurant with a simple setup, the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect and need for convenient take-out service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty, affordable, and authentic-style Chinese food.“

“Ordered takeout from here. I ended up getting sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, and pan-fried dumplings and everything was packed and presented really well, with good portion sizes and decent prices. When I got there, I noticed the restaurant was spacious and clean, so I ended up sitting down and eating there instead. Everything hit the spot. I’ll definitely be going back.“

“My 89 year old mother absolutely loves the chicken noodle soup. She enjoys a mug full everyday and is never tired of it. I ask for a low sodium version and they make it happen. I'm hooked on shrimp with veggies they make for me. Also love the dumplings, egg rolls and many other dishes. It's my favorite place to get really good Chinese food.“

“This establishment has been a godsend especially during the pandemic. They are white glove inspection type clean and are very understating of people with autoimmune diseases and willing to meet you at the door to pick up your order. Food is always fresh and super tasty!“

“The food is decent, above average as Chinese food restaurants in the area go. Certainly not the best. Service is just so so, even though they're cooking and serving up food, they don't seem to enjoy doing it. It'll do in a pinch. Picture it, Friday evening 730 - 8 o'clock don't wanna cook, got a little money cause it's payday, where's there some decent Chinese food? This place will fit the bill.“

“Food is always great, and everyone is very polite. And if you order delivery, you never have to wait a long time. I just ordered literally today and my food was at my door 19 minutes after I called them. There is nothing to complain about as far as food and service go with this place. They need more than 5 stars.“

“Great food from great people. I'm 33 years old and have been coming here since I could remember. Reading some of these reviews hurts because they're far from the truth. Either from people who just don't like newburgh, or people who most likely were rude first then got their attitude reflected back to them and didn't like it. A gem in my home town and I hope will be here longer than I am. Thank you for all you've done over the years you're very much appreciated!!“

“Great food, never got sick ever. Staff takes orders n its quick! U wait maybe 15minutes max from showing up n ordering. U can call ahead though to order. Prices r good for the portion sizes! I got a pint of house lo mein, wonton soup, and na shrimp egg roll for $13! Can't beat that! Staff nice and U can eat inside! Parking is limited but still good n easy. It is wheel chair accessible. There is no restroom though for public. It's the best Chinese in Newburgh! Plz though bring back pints of hot n sour! They only sell now quarts ugh..many choices on the menu if U want no salt or vegetarian too! They have lunch specials for cheaper also.
Vegetarian options: There are many choices like egg foo Young n you can get steamed vegetables.
Dietary restrictions: U can get low sodium plates/dishes or no salt n there are more then just 2 or 3. They will work w you!
Parking: U can park right in front of the restaurant, there is always room or across the street in a huge parking lot all for free or park on the side street but I wouldn't in Newburgh!
Kid-friendliness: U can dine in but has no child boosters or high chairs. Just adult chairs w metal tables.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get out in parking lot. No lip straight into the restaurant. The door though is not push button but U can wheel in. Also the window is a bit high up but the second opening is wheelchair level so don't worry! Can wheel right up to a table inside.“

“I read many reviews posted, recent & years ago. Most were favorable. 20 minutes away, worth every pothole to get there. The place is clean, no foul odors or greasy floors. Staff pleasant & nice. Dined in. Food is proper temperature, flavorful, tender-crisp veggies. Chicken on the stick, yummy. Will go again. No fortune cookie!“

“My husband and I eat here regularly. Their sushi and sashimi is fresh, and served authentically, i.e. the white tuna is accompanied by shiso leaf. We’ve brought NYC friends here, who eat sushi regularly, and have commented how good the food is here. My husband who does not eat sushi but is happy with the menu’s Chinese dishes.“

“Feng was amazingly helpful. Less than 24 hours before a bridal shower, the restaurant we had contracted with reneged, leaving us high and dry.
I called Oriental Kitchen and Feng came to our rescue. In a few hours he and his chefs had created and executed a carry out caterering menu!
The guests remarked on how flavorful, fresh and well balanced the food was. It reminded them of good old fashioned Chinese food, not like what's become commonplace. The homemade dumplings were a huge hit!
Thanks, Feng, for your kindness, speed and generosity! Your delicious food saved the bridal shower!“
“This is undeniably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Hudson Valley! I absolutely love their sesame chicken served with fried rice, and I can't resist adding some wonton soup to the order. The service is quick and friendly—it usually takes about 20 minutes for a to-go order. No matter what I choose, the food is consistently delicious. I even drive 30 minutes just to enjoy their authentic flavors, which shows how much I enjoy coming here. If you're craving Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant—it's a must-try!“

“I took a day trip to Cold Spring via the Seastreak ferry. The restaurant caught my eye initially because of the clothing and gift items that were displayed outside. I found a beautiful reversible Shanghai Tang embroidered jacket, and took it inside to purchase. Inside the restaurant were more gifts and clothing for sale. The owner was very pleasant. The restaurant smelled great, so I decided to order food. I had the spicy chicken, pork and beef with white rice. It had the right amount of spice, and the portion was large enough that I had leftovers. If you find yourself in Cold Spring, I highly recommend a visit to New Ming Moon. You may just find a hidden treasure.“
“Absolute classic! Love happy Peking house and highly recommend the bourbon chicken with some extra white rice if you want to get filled up. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to finish a whole bourbon chicken with equal parts rice. Cadet and old grad approved.“

“I called to ask if one of their dishes was gluten free, and the person who answered the phone was SO KIND! She took extra time on the phone with me and gave me a list of dishes that they prepare gluten free, and she told me she’d put a menu with my food to make ordering next time easier for me as they mark which of their meals are gluten free. I ordered the coconut chicken, and it was excellent!!“

“This is our favorite Chinese spot and I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. Family owned and operated. We order from here at least once a week and the food is always hot and fresh. The prices here are also a lot lower than other places. The owners have always been very nice to us and I love to support hardworking people. They are working from open till close everyday and their dedication is praiseworthy. Don’t let the location deter you from coming here, it’s worth it!“

“Let me start with how well everything tasted and cooked. The fried rice was great and well done, I have to say if you buy a combo its for 1 person , they dont over fill the container. The fried chicken wings was good also. Chicken broccoli was amazing not filled with sauce perfect. The best part was the boneless spare ribs, they really broiled them, they have a little burnt to them but thats how they need to be, not filled with sweet sauce , the flavor is all there. This for me is the top chinese in this area. NOTHING was soggy everything was fresh. Will definitely order again. Food was so good I forgot to take a picture. I will call , this place gets so busy. Worth the wait.“

“Came here for takeout for our Christmas Eve tradition because I recently got a gluten-free diagnosis. They can make a ton of the menu gluten free, you just have to ask but they were really nice showing us what the options were and answering all my questions. It seemed like any of the chicken, beef, pork, or vegetables they could make with a gluten free version of the sauce, plus fried rice and chow mei fun.
We got:
General Tso’s chicken
Hunan bean curd with vegetables
Chicken and eggplant
Chow mei fun Singapore noodles
And brown rice!
They marked everything for us and had it ready in 15 minutes. It tasted great and I feel great too!
There are some tables in case you want to eat there, but it’s primarily a take out spot.“
