“Came here for takeout for our Christmas Eve tradition because I recently got a gluten-free diagnosis. They can make a ton of the menu gluten free, you just have to ask but they were really nice showing us what the options were and answering all my questions. It seemed like any of the chicken, beef, pork, or vegetables they could make with a gluten free version of the sauce, plus fried rice and chow mei fun.

We got:
General Tso’s chicken
Hunan bean curd with vegetables
Chicken and eggplant
Chow mei fun Singapore noodles

And brown rice!

They marked everything for us and had it ready in 15 minutes. It tasted great and I feel great too!

There are some tables in case you want to eat there, but it’s primarily a take out spot.“

“Let me start with how well everything tasted and cooked. The fried rice was great and well done, I have to say if you buy a combo its for 1 person , they dont over fill the container. The fried chicken wings was good also. Chicken broccoli was amazing not filled with sauce perfect. The best part was the boneless spare ribs, they really broiled them, they have a little burnt to them but thats how they need to be, not filled with sweet sauce , the flavor is all there. This for me is the top chinese in this area. NOTHING was soggy everything was fresh. Will definitely order again. Food was so good I forgot to take a picture. I will call , this place gets so busy. Worth the wait.“

“Yum!! So far my fave Chinese food spot in the area!Food was fresh, portions plenty and prices were nice!Combo plates were stuffed to the top! Wonton soup was delicious-wonton was perfect consistency and brother was tasty. Ribs were tender and flavorful. Egg roll wasn’t my favorite but I’d say that it was more a personal preference thing. “My 89 year old mother absolutely loves the chicken noodle soup. She enjoys a mug full everyday and is never tired of it. I ask for a low sodium version and they make it happen. I'm hooked on shrimp with veggies they make for me. Also love the dumplings, egg rolls and many other dishes. It's my favorite place to get really good Chinese food.“

“One of the better Chinese places in the area. I wanted to try a bunch of things so I had the general tso lunch plate with fried rice and egg drop soup. The general tso isn't too spicy but still tasty especially with the rice. I also had the spring rolls which were nice and crispy, not my favorite flavor but I prefer thai spring rolls so thats just a me thing. The crab rangoon is better than the one up the road. The pork egg roll was huge in my opinion, and with some sauce was great! The egg drop soup was exactly what I wanted. Had i ordered just my food and egg roll with crab rangoon wouldve spent less than $20. Overall 5/5, will be ordering again!“

“Great food, never got sick ever. Staff takes orders n its quick! U wait maybe 15minutes max from showing up n ordering. U can call ahead though to order. Prices r good for the portion sizes! I got a pint of house lo mein, wonton soup, and na shrimp egg roll for $13! Can't beat that! Staff nice and U can eat inside! Parking is limited but still good n easy. It is wheel chair accessible. There is no restroom though for public. It's the best Chinese in Newburgh! Plz though bring back pints of hot n sour! They only sell now quarts ugh..many choices on the menu if U want no salt or vegetarian too! They have lunch specials for cheaper also.

Vegetarian options: There are many choices like egg foo Young n you can get steamed vegetables.

Dietary restrictions: U can get low sodium plates/dishes or no salt n there are more then just 2 or 3. They will work w you!

Parking: U can park right in front of the restaurant, there is always room or across the street in a huge parking lot all for free or park on the side street but I wouldn't in Newburgh!

Kid-friendliness: U can dine in but has no child boosters or high chairs. Just adult chairs w metal tables.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get out in parking lot. No lip straight into the restaurant. The door though is not push button but U can wheel in. Also the window is a bit high up but the second opening is wheelchair level so don't worry! Can wheel right up to a table inside.“

“Amy’s food is the best. No MSG ever!! We’ve been going there for the last 5 years. Never once have I come out and later get that msg headache or feel bad. Everything is very good! Fresh with good portions. Sushi top shelf. She makes her own dumplings, egg rolls . The shrimp egg rolls are a must try. All the soups are good. No dish water tasting soups. We are there once some times twice a week.“

Either from people who just don't like newburgh, or people who most likely were rude first then got their attitude reflected back to them and didn't like it. “So happy to have found this (new?) place! They’re super nice, it was ready quickly, food was truly good and the price was really reasonable. For $42 we got what could easily feed a family of four and everything was solid. We got sesame chicken and asked for it to be spicy, chicken lo mein, tofu and mixed veg, and a scallion pancake. Their menu is a bit smaller than others but I’d imagine for good reason, everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. Also the containers were stuffed to the gills.

Only constructive feedback would be to switch the scallion pancake packaging to a wax paper bag so it doesn’t steam up in a plastic container— it was so delicious but softened by the time we got home. Also, great dipping sauce (clearly house made with fresh ginger).“

“Feng was amazingly helpful. Less than 24 hours before a bridal shower, the restaurant we had contracted with reneged, leaving us high and dry.

I called Oriental Kitchen and Feng came to our rescue. In a few hours he and his chefs had created and executed a carry out caterering menu!

The guests remarked on how flavorful, fresh and well balanced the food was. It reminded them of good old fashioned Chinese food, not like what's become commonplace. The homemade dumplings were a huge hit!

“You need to go to Main Moon if you want authentic Sichuan cuisine, and not American style Chinese food. You can go there for that too, the restaurant has a generous selection of food, but ask for the Sichuan side of the menu, and ask about it. The manager is proud of the food, the cuisine style, and has excellent recommendations. I personally starting out with the cucumber and garlic in spicy oil. It is delicious, spicy and refreshing to crunch into fresh cucumber. I also recommend getting tO dishes and sharing with someone, or even with two other people. The portions are copious. I loved the crab rangoon and I would definitely come back again. atmosphere was great felt like memories when i was in my fathers womb came flooding back so nostalgic in the best way, just like that ratatouille scene you know the movie! If you think the food is bad then you have horrible taste then and you don't know heaven till you get here! “Actually, this has been the 2nd time we order from here in a while. This place used to be a 5star review for sure. Now It was so bad that my dog walked away from it! No lie. They definitely changed up a bunch of stuff. The ribs, all you taste is fennel. The rice has an old nasty taste that was unbeatable! The dog walked away from it! The egg rolls were once again weird and nasty tasting. My sons generals Taos was so soggy. The only thing that were really good was the crab Rangoon. Unfortunately found out when we got it home. Otherwise this all would have went back! Unfortunately you lost our business. .5stars rating for us!!“
