“Not all Chinese restaurants are created equal. Great Wall is the ONLY Chinese restaurant that I consistently come back to when I want Chinese food. Even having lived in Newburgh for a couple of years, I still made the trip to Hyde Park when I wanted Chinese food. Everything I've had has been delicious, and they've always catered to my families picky taste buds. If I had to pick a favorite dish, I would have to go with the Hot and Spicy Chicken combo!“

“Nice guys. I tipped them extra because I asked to bring my food next door. He initially refused the tip but I insisted... To my surprise he upgraded my roast pork w black bean sauce to a meal w veggies and rice. The food tased great by the way.“

“This establishment has been a godsend especially during the pandemic. They are white glove inspection type clean and are very understating of people with autoimmune diseases and willing to meet you at the door to pick up your order. Food is always fresh and super tasty!“

“So happy to have found this (new?) place! They’re super nice, it was ready quickly, food was truly good and the price was really reasonable. For $42 we got what could easily feed a family of four and everything was solid. We got sesame chicken and asked for it to be spicy, chicken lo mein, tofu and mixed veg, and a scallion pancake. Their menu is a bit smaller than others but I’d imagine for good reason, everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. Also the containers were stuffed to the gills.

Only constructive feedback would be to switch the scallion pancake packaging to a wax paper bag so it doesn’t steam up in a plastic container— it was so delicious but softened by the time we got home. Also, great dipping sauce (clearly house made with fresh ginger).“

“My husband and family friend came back to the car so quickly I thought they had robbed the place. Hahaha. They were so happy with all the food they got and it was only $11 for a fuuulll take out container. Back to the hotel, the food was delicious and satisfying. Great and quick take out. No pictures. “You need to go to Main Moon if you want authentic Sichuan cuisine, and not American style Chinese food. You can go there for that too, the restaurant has a generous selection of food, but ask for the Sichuan side of the menu, and ask about it. The manager is proud of the food, the cuisine style, and has excellent recommendations. I personally starting out with the cucumber and garlic in spicy oil. It is delicious, spicy and refreshing to crunch into fresh cucumber. I also recommend getting tO dishes and sharing with someone, or even with two other people. The portions are copious. I finally leave my review after having gone there at least ten times.“

Next time you order sweet and sour chicken get some garlic sauce instead of sweet and sour sauce. Game changer. I love the lady who take your order she is such a sweetheart. she remembers my sons from years ago and greats us with smiles all the time.

“Actually, this has been the 2nd time we order from here in a while. This place used to be a 5star review for sure. Now It was so bad that my dog walked away from it! No lie. They definitely changed up a bunch of stuff. The ribs, all you taste is fennel. The rice has an old nasty taste that was unbeatable! The dog walked away from it! The egg rolls were once again weird and nasty tasting. My sons generals Taos was so soggy. The only thing that were really good was the crab Rangoon. Unfortunately found out when we got it home. Otherwise this all would have went back! Unfortunately you lost our business. .5stars rating for us!!“

“Fast, reasonable, pretty good food. Really liked their egg rolls. Wasn’t blown away by the entrees I ordered (sesame chicken and bourbon chicken) but my husband really enjoyed the steamed shrimp and veggies, which looked pretty fresh. Overall would have liked everything to be a little saucier.

The food is absolutely fantastic, the best Chinese my family has ever had. We pay extra for white meat and it comes out perfect every time with the right ratio of sauce, outside crunch and meat every time! Will keep coming back as long as it’s open!“
