“Very good chinese takeout. The food is tasty and not oily. The vegetables are cooked perfectly, not too crunchy but not soft either. The meats and seafood are fresh. One of my favorites is the chicken with broccoli. They only do takeout. They are located in a convenient shopping center, Simmons Plaza, on Rt 9W Saugerties NY. They are next to Maloney's Wine and Liquor (3139 US-9W).“
“This is a place to call ahead and order take-away. They're busy, efficient and you're not gonna get table service. Authentic market food made by seasoned pros. Best egg rolls around! And I'd eat the crab Rangoon as part of my last meal.“
“Easily the best Chinese food in 50 miles, including all of the Capitol District. We live within a quarter mile, so we always order takeout. The portions are extremely generous and flavors are terrific. We've lived here 35 years, and order from Szechuan King at least monthly, which makes up about 3/4 of our annual dining "out". We've dined in occasionally, and the service and dining room are excellent. An idiosyncracy is that they nearly always promise fifteen minutes for takeout. I think that's because they don't want you to show up late. If they say twenty or thirty minutes, you know they're busy, deservedly so. I specifically recommend the spicier dishes, like General Tso's chicken. It's a terrific combination - great Chinese food, fast, and very convenient.“
“The food is good and fresh, but was/is lacking some flavor. It just does not have that punch that you look for with Chinese takeout. The crab Rangoon tho is the best I had.The streamed dumplings were kinda bland but the dipping sauce made them better.Overall, this restaurant is good but not the best.“
“The idea of Chinese food is pretty much ordering, picking up and going. Which this place is with its service. Place is kinda cozy on it own. A door which leads to the dine in area and a window frame which you can order what you want. Food follows the same idea of a Chinese Restaurant.Parking: Parking spaces on all sides. Most park closest to the store of choice.“
“Wayyyyy better than your average buffet but the selection was not spectacular; I wish they had more seafood and meifun for dinner ( they only have it at lunch. ) Gave it 5 stars because the prices are amazing and the staff there is wonderful. Will come back again and again.“
“While working nearby I saw their sign. What a hidden gem!!!The atmosphere is great. I love the decor, It reminded be of the pride that used to be in Chinese restaurants. The service was top notch and the food was so tasty. We ordered the lunch trays. Very unique presentation. The staff was friendly and neat.Stop here! You won't be disappointed!“
“I use to think I knew who had the best Chinese food. But then I moved and had to look for all new places to eat out. Then I found ChopStick in Catskill, and my idea of good Chinese food was challenged! After trying multiple things on the menu over the last year, I was never disappointed. I imagine most restaurants cook everything in house but after eating here it is like everywhere else I have ever eaten, bought pre-made frozen stuff that got pulled from the bottom of the freezer. In my opinion the quality here is unrivaled. Thank you and keep it up!“
“Good local Chinese food and the ONLY local Chinese restaurant with the traditional American dishes like 1/2 chicken and pork fried rice, and scallop with French fries just to name a couple.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian dishes availableParking: Possible parking lot behind restaurant, not sure. On street parking during peak hours can be a hassle.“
“Try this place for the first time and ordered the combo of boneless ribs and fried rice with an egg roll. I thought the price was reasonable and it was really good! The eggroll wasn't good at all, but other than that i was happy I tried here and definitly will again!“
