Management, service, food quality and value were all excellent. I made a note that we were there for my mother's birthday which was automatically acknowledged upon arrival and throughout the evening. Most importantly my mother thoroughly enjoyed her experience.

We were a bit disappointed this time around... My cocktail-the "paper plane" was definitely shy on bourbon. I've had this cocktail before, but this time around it tasted like fruit juice; barely any alcohol. Our shrimp appetizer was delicious and flavorful as usual. We devoured it! For our mains my partner ordered the $50 boneless ribeye special-which ended up NOT being the described special. It was supposed to be served with au poivre/ green peppercorn sauce; but was served totally naked. My tagliatelle were cooked properly and arrived piping hot-but there was some sort of thickening agent that made the short rib sauce very "starchy" in texture. I'm guessing that a flour-based roux was used. It was kind of gross...It also dampened/deadened the flavor of the sauce. It was bland and underseasoned. Our waiter was fabulous, as always. He comped us a scoop of gelato for the mishap with the absence of peppercorn sauce. It was my birthday, I was really hoping for a delicious meal.

We usually have a great experience here. My cocktail was not properly made. Paper plane tasted like juice, and was shorted on alcohol. Shrimp scampi appetizer was delicious. No peppercorn sauce on $50 ribeye special. Short rib pasta dish tasted starchy as if the sauce was roux based.

We dined at Cafe Amarcord for Valentine's Day and it was so lovely. Delicious cocktails and fresh seafood appetizers followed by the most rich and creamy gnocchi dish. I love this place and will definitely come back for my next special occasion.

Over rated, over priced, and the seafood we ordered didnt seem fresh. Atmosphere is ok but not worth the money. Im not sure what all raving reviews are

From the moment we entered the service was on point! The food and drinks were delicious! Everything came out at the right times and picture perfect. And it was a relatively busy Friday night, but not crowded or too loud. We will definitely be coming back. Can't wait!

Food was amazing and on par with any restaurant in Manhattan. Top notch wine list. Service was excellent and owners were fun to talk to. Great restaurant in Beacon. Don't miss it.

Honestly, I don't know how we didn't know about this place for so long! We discovered it last year and have gone back at least 1-2 times per month. The food is amazing, the service attentive, and the owner, Monica, is delightful. Always makes you feel so welcome. Highly recommend!

We started with grilled calamari special and burrata Vesuvio both were amazing. Calamari was tender and delicious and the burrata was smooth and creamy and the tomatoes sweet and firm. Jim had pappardelle and sausage. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente and the sausage had so much flavor. I had the trout special. It was a whole fish deboned with a tomato avocado salad on top. The fish was delicious and the freshness of the salad on top was a great. We ate too much so could not do dessert... maybe next time. We love this place have been going there for years. The change up in the menu is always something to look forward to.

We really enjoy dining here. It’s one of our go to restaurants in the area. It’s never exceptionally crowded, never really noisy, and a very enjoyable atmosphere for dinner. As evening we had the shaved brussels sprouts salad, with the chicken and Fra Diavola which is really more of a hen, than a chicken, on a very nice bed of Sautéed broccoli rabe and roasted potatoes. We also had a glass of red wine, each, and sparkling water. We shared both plates, and it was more than enough for both of us. A very enjoyable evening.

This is a special place. A small but interesting gourmet Italian menu, great vibe and service. We had the shaved Brussels sprouts appetizer, a spicy shrimp pasta dish and the chicken fra diavolo, with the Mt Etna rosso wine. Everything was jaw-droppingly good. It's an elevated version of a red sauce joint, but not snooty or expensive. You felt like it was run by people who know how to run a restaurant.

Terrific all around. Bread was wonderful. Sauce was outrageous. Lamb skewers were seasoned and cooked terrifically. The honey in the tzatziki sauce was clutch. The pasta with shrimp was spot-on. Terrific staff. Wonderful host. Wine was excellent too.

What a fabulous experience dining at Café Amarcord. We ordered salads and entrées for the table for us all to share, and each one was a star. Garganelli with Shrimp was OMG delicious. Nearly one month later, I am still craving this dish. Service was professional and cordial. Wine by the glass – – perfect matches. Next time I return to Beacon, Café Amacord will be at the top of my list to revisit. Honestly, I cannot wait.
