I had a poor experience here— particularly with customer service. I had ordered the egg sandwich and the cashier “asked if I want the regular one.” And I said yes “with egg and cheese” (as there were options to add tempeh or avocado.” They then gave me a dry sandwich without sauce and the vegetables included in the sandwich. After asking about there being no sauce in the sandwich, I was told I ordered “the egg and cheese” version of the sandwich without sauce or spinach.
One worker expressed no apologies in this error and made me feel like I was being the difficult one in the situation when there was in fact miscommunication on their part.

Needles to say I will not come here again.

Egg and cheese sandwich was good. $13 is a little steep for no included sides. Otherwise, coffee was great, and staff were nice.

The gluten free baked goods are pretty good, nice large selection at the right times of day,
not the biggest fan of the use of soy in a lot of items. The baked goods at time can be “gritty” or “grainy”. The cleanliness is this places strongest point. My biggest gripe is the staff for years now has been terribly unfriendly. The owners should really train there staff in customer service and remind them they chose to work in the service industry. The folks that work here seem to have quite the chip on their shoulder prior to the ownership change when it was Ella’s, everybody was very kind. Do better! Treat all your customers like they all matter!

Kitchen & Coffee was my go-to breakfast place when I lived in Beacon. Absolutely love all the vegan options and their baristas are top notch. The avocado toast or vegan corn muffins are my personal favorites, but all their food is great. The ambiance is super cozy, and I love their outdoor eating area in the summer.

Cool place & good workers. Very overpriced though for what you get. $10 egg sandwich the size of a baseball lol. Wouldn’t come back.

Spacious, lovely café with both indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious looking pastries, good coffee, and very yummy breakfasts like mushroom toast with a poached egg. Highly recommended for breakfast in Beacon!

Disappointing. The pastries looked great but the chocolate Bundt was dry. Staff forgot our order for the seasonal quiche and it was barely warm and tasteless. So considering the wait and price point we wouldn't hurry to return.
