Out of towners came in for dinner, back during the Holidaze. A month later, back on the Westcoast, I find myself dreaming about their singular Espresso Martini. Wow! Everything else we got was excellent, as well.
Two stars. I made a reservation for two here. We indicated it was a special occasion. They put us in a pretty bad spot - right next to the door when it was very cold out. So it was cold whenever people walked in. When we asked if they could move us, the front staff was pretty rude / unfriendly. I recognize that other tables were booked, but the staff didn’t work with us at all / offer any flexibility. Too bad.
We had a lovely time at Melzingah. The service and food were both excellent. The Kung Pao Brussels are the best we all ever had and everything else exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was just what we wanted, relaxing and rustic.

The atmosphere and service were warm and inviting, which we truly appreciated. While the food didn’t quite meet our expectations, we enjoyed trying a variety of items, including the Tuna Rice Crisps, the Gnudi, and the Panko Chicken Sandwich. We also ordered a beer and a dirty martini, which were served in small plastic cups. The Gnudi wasn’t quite to our taste, as the texture felt a bit soggy with an aftertaste we didn’t prefer. As for the Panko Chicken Sandwich, my substitution of cheddar for blue cheese may have played a role, but overall it felt a bit underwhelming, and the chicken could have used more seasoning.

Stopped in with a group of friends for a couple beers and a quick bite this afternoon (Sunday). We sat at the bar and were quickly greeted with a smile and menus. Place was airy, clean, and well-decorated. Plenty of great beers to choose from. The pretzel bites and dipping sauce were the best I've ever had....and I've been around 😁 Service was incredible and Kristin B, our bartender, was awesome!! Can't wait to go back.

A group of 4 (plus our bulldog) went for a dinner in their outdoor patio space in the back. Even though it was cold at 30 degrees, the covered and heated patio was super toasty amd warm. The servers were quite friendly amd the enviroment was lively. The food was also great. Standouts were the shortrib french onion soup and the burger. The fries were also great. Awesome experience all around.

This is becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Beacon. The restaurant is beautiful and the vibe is perfect. I sat at the bar and had the most delicious spicy tuna crispy rice, chopped salad and garlic green beans. Special shout out to Ashley for the wonderful service! Can’t wait to return!

Very friendly staff and a pleasant place to enjoy any of eight different IPAs and hoppier APAs. Yeah, they have other beers too, but I’m here for hops. I found the right place.
Sat near closet that smelled, couldn't be moved. But food and beer as always, was hot and delicious. Service was ok. The bartender was awesome. He was very attentive.

So we came looking for a table, but had to eat from the bar. I generally I refuse eating a full menu from the bar. So I ordered an app and a drink. The app was fantastic (shrimp scampi) and they did have a wonderful beer selection. I will comment when. We came in there were 10ish empty tables And when we left there will still five. We never got a table. Little did they know that my $36 bill would have grown to $150+ if I had the proper support and had given me a table.

This restaurant was great. We had a party of 17, with several children, and we served promptly and with great care. We say in the outdoor tent and had a wonderful night with good food and great service. Caitlin was a great hostess and even helped adjust the heat when the kiddos got a bit too warm. Prices are reasonable with the portion size and food quality. Highly recommend!

Melzingah features one of the best dining menus in the Hudson Valley, period. Their lobster pasta is out of this world. They always have a great atmosphere and it’s a bit removed from the madness of the center of Main Street. It’s very popular so make sure you get there with enough time or call ahead.

We went to have dinner here for my daughter’s birthday. She works in Beacon and loves the food here. Which by the way was great and we loved the atmosphere. However, from the moment we walked in the Hostess was rude and had an attitude. She told us it was a 30 minute wait. No problem. I asked if there’s a place where we can wait, she said no. Mind you she went and got a party of 4 who were waiting in the back. No problem. We went and sat in our car. After 30 minutes we went inside and as we walked in she said can I help you. I told her we were waiting and that she had taken our number down. She once again said it’s a 30 minute wait with an attitude. I told her you told us 30 minutes , 30 minutes ago. She proceeded to say “ well I don’t have any available tables right now” I said okay can we wait here. She said no I already have too many people waiting here. She then asked us if we wanted to sit in the outside dinning area which has heat. We said no problem. She took us out back which was empty with only two guess. She proceeded to put the menus on the table with an attitude. No problem. After 10 minutes of us sitting down the waiter told us that the Hostess told him ( she didn’t even come to us) that they had an available table inside if we wanted to go back inside in which we refused between were already settled outside. My point is I totally understand that the place was busy, but there’s ways of going about it, her delivery was nasty and her attitude was worse. We Spanish and we noticed that she was totally different with other guess. Other than the Hostess being rude the food was great.
